'' ok, guys. calm down. i know you're excited, the first LIVEWIRE show! anyway, tonight, we are going to name a no.1 contender to the world heavyweight championship. also, whoever wins the U.S. title match, will know who they will face at fire and hell. and is if that's not enough, kurt angle will be in action in the main event, as he faces chris benoit! see you later, guys!
1. paul london def. sylvan grenierresult = grenier took control early on in the match. he hit a suplex, then took london to the outside and whipped him into the steps. london came in on the 7 count but grenier pounded on him. then, out of nowhere, london hooked a small package and got the victory.

rey mysterio comes out. '' as most of you guys don't know, i was attacked earlier, in the parking lot. now, this may come as no shock at all, but the person who gave me a bloody nose and a bruised face, was a guy who i've never really seen eye to eye with. you probably know who it is, but here he is:
christian comes out. '' haha. you know rey, i only attacked you because i know i can kick your ass any day. so, i, captain charisma, propose a challenge to you. but, we make it very interesting. since you will be in hospital after i'm done with you, i'll let you make the match!''

2. tag titles match = regal and burchill defeat hearthrobs to retainresult = antonio and regal started off a quick-paced match. regal hit a scoop slam and hit a quick elbow. romeo was tagged in and clotheslined both regal and burchill, but lost momentum and was threw shoulder- first into the ringpost, and burchill won it with a shoulderbreaker.
3. 6-man tag = eugene, john cena & HBK def. edge, carlito and snitsky by DQresult = edge and eugene started out. eugene built momentum with a clotheline followed by a ddt. but, edge tagged snitsky, while eugene tagged in cena. both were hitting hard right hands, and cena whipped snitsky off the ropes, and connected with a hip toss. as cena hit a 5-nuckle shuffle, and HBK was brawling with carlito on the outside, edge hit eugene with a chair, but the ref didn't see. then, as cena lifted snitsky for a F-U, edge hit cena across the head with a chair. the ref rung the bell as edge smiled with his music playing. lit came out, and with HBK and eugene out, they all attacked cena. but, shelton benjamin and big show came out to help cena. the attackers cleared the ring as show and shelton screamed at them.

angle comes out. '' thank you, linda. right, who am i gonna be defeating at fire and hell. if you will, linda.''
'' happy to, kurt.''
chris jericho comes out. '' hi, kurt. nice to see ya. so, at fire and hell, me vs you for the title, i can't wait!''
'' me neither jericho. i'll kick your ass, 'cause i'm the world champion.''
'' watch out junior!''
4. U.S. championship match = shelton benjamin def. ken kennedy to become U.S. championresult = kennedy started well, hitting a sidewalk slam after nearly knocking benjamin out with a succession of huge hard-hitting right hands. however, benjamin started fighting back, hammering kennedy with big punches, and then hit a well - executed dropkick, but could only get a 2-count. then, benjamin tried to hit a moonsault, but missed. as kennedy went for a greenbay plunge, benjamin escaped and threw kennedy off the top turnbuckle. then, a t-bone suplex won it for shelton.
linda comes out. '' congratulations, shelton. now, there's the slight matter of no.1 contender spot. here he is:
viscera comes out. '' so, shelton. the 505-pound love machine will see you in the ring at fire and hell.''
shelton looks shocked.'' yeah, well, get ready for fire and hell, 'cause i'm ready!''
5. triple threat = HHH def. chris jericho & big showresult = big show dominated early on, hitting a scoop slam on jericho, and hitting a chair across the head of the game. then, big show hit a HUGE chokeslam on jericho. as Y2J was flat out, HHH played possum, and as show picked him up, the game hit him, then pedigreed him onto the chair and got the 3 count.

6. single = kurt angle def. chris benoitresult = angle hit a belly to bely, but only got a 1-count. then, benoit hit a superplex later in the match, but couldn't get the 3-count. the ref was down, and angle slammed the steel steps on to the rabid wolverine's legs. then, angle rolled benoit in, and hit an angle slam off the top rope. as the ref became conscious, angle locked in the angle lock and made benoit submit.
