Put a Create an Arena suboption in the Create a PPV. you design the stage, including what kind of titantron (raw-parallelogram or smackdown-rectangle), sets, stage or no stage, ramp or no ramp, lights, ring ropes, etc.

thought of a way to do the royal rumble in 2007 you should have unlimited people like in real life and you should only see the bar of the person you are faceing (looking at) that way thers no confusion and hey presto 30 men in the ring all at once. also they should make it more realistic and make people like tajiri unable to team up with sylvan and be able to throw the big show out just wouldnt work really. any questions then just PM me i'll get bk to ya.

Gameplay

The control system is far too repetitive and matches quickly degenerate into the same match over and over.
Performing moves should be harder to pull off.
Also the AI is laughable. I'm sick of the COM climbing the turnbuckle only to jump back down. (Has this EVER happened in an actual match?) Also in Buried Alive the COM doesn't try to take you to the casket. ??
I'd like to see character specific AI, Not for everyone but for major and more unique stars. Like HHH + Flair work more methodically. RVD + Mysterio try to pull off high impact moves. Instead at the moment all the guys just following the same Pattern.
And Stop with all the countering it just becomes ridiculous after a while.....

Season

First thing is it should be at least a full WWE Year (That means all the PPV's THQ!!!!!)
It needs to be less 'on the rails', i'm sick of feeling like i have no control over my characters actions.
I'd like to see a return in part to the Attitude season. Where you see all the shows and work your way up. First by winning matches and then Storylines and titles shots should follow. Lets face it most new wrestlers spend agaes jobbing about before getting a storyline and progressing up the card.
Also give us factions!!!!!! I know there that WWE doesnt care about them anymore. But c'mon man. The Corporation, DX , nWo , The Ministry. These were all sweet. And the story's were great.
I'd also like to see specific entrance point for new wrestlers .. see below...

Create a Superstar.

The whole thing is pretty good now. But you should be able to determine a level for your CAW i.e - Newbie , Jobber, Mid-Carder, Legend etc. This could affect how season mode starts off. Example - A newbie starts at house shows and works their way up. Mid-Carder could have an entrance to WWE like Jericho and Tazz did with countdowns. Legends could well pretty much just appear one night at a big PPV (Rumble/ Summerslam / Survivor Series)
Also please get rid of the leg gap and crotch blur. I can't understand how it gets bigger every year!!!!

Create a Titantron

I mentioned this in another thread several months ago and i still think it's a great idea. It doesnt have to be fance just a video with some finishers / Taunts and editable text.

Needs to be more in depth.
We need more music options in all honestly SVR 1 had the best amount of choice. Sure no-one really liked the original music but its better than giving them an in-game guys music only to have them fight each other in season mode and it all looks rather silly.
Also we need the to be able to set the precise time that the pyro goes off.
Also this is a complete shot in the dark but here goes.
How about putting in a bit of code that reads old Smackdown games. So you can take entrances from there, Titantron' and music??? Please i've been harping on about this for years and the fact that no-one listining means that I end up sitting with a bottle of whiskey in one hand and a phone connected to the Samitaritans in the other!!!

Create An Arena

I really want to be able to re-create past PPV's with authentic(ish) arena's. Perhaps Vince deosn't want this put in cos he knows everyone will make old WCW and ECW arena's. And probably TNA as well. In all honesty this is why i want it. Give me Nitro!!!!!!!!
You could also put it into GM mode and re-create the Monday Night Wars except make ECW win it!!!!!

Create - A - Season

This sounds like far too much work but it's not really. Look all the code for storylines etc. is there in season mode anyway so if we can use we can create different season's thus increasing the games longitivity.
And let us use the CAA topic i want and we can have infinite fun by completely ignoring the WWE and playing TNE/WCW/ + ECW seasons..... Death To Vince!!!!!!!!

GM Mode

First thing ....larger roster
Storylines we can view and edit. I wanna be able to screw John Cena out of the title and throw him onto the (S)Crapheap!!!!!!!!!!!!
And how about a Create a Brand. That'd be cool!!!!!

Matches

We don't need much more there's already plenty matches there but sort out the buried Alive match please. It's just a casket match. which is fine we like casket matches but dont try and sell us this . Give us a proper buried alive match and preferably something with barbed wire!!!!

Legends

Okay now, so space is an issue and i'd rather have 40 CAW slots that 20 Legends. So i'm going on the premise that we have roughly the same number of legends as previously

I know some people won't like this but i dont think Eddie should be considered a Legend. He was a great wrestler but look at this way if he'd quit he would never have been suggested as a Legend. I think it's too soon to consider him for this game. It would just be a tribute. And i think only people who have proved themselve to be legends should be in the game. I'd like to see him as a legend in a couple of years but he should be considered a legend for his wrestling ability and not because he's just died.

I have a few ideas for the next Smackdown game in the series. In my opinion this would make the game a lot better and less tedious.

Roster

The roster should include all the superstars up to the cut-off point (which I heard was after Wrestlemania); this includes all the superstars that appear on velocity and heat. People like Funaki, Rosey and slightly less popular superstars. It may only be me but I want to see people like the Heart Throbs and Tomko. Smackdown HCTP had a very large roster and included people like Rico and other that were poor at the time. This also links in with my ideas for GM mode. With the capacity of the PS3 you should have attires for all superstars, including women. This will allow a better feel to the game, honestly when does Rey where the same colour mask or pants.

GM’s, Vince and commentators should be in the game as well.

Legends

As for the legends I think that they should add about 15-20 legends, this will make the roster larger and have everyone’s favourite legends added into the game. They could add one or two female legends as well. Maybe add Moolah and Chyna.

Season Mode

The main thing that would improve season mode is More Storylines; this would mean to add loads of story lines so that they don’t repeat over and over again. I would like to see different match types used within season and real storylines that happened. Also an addition of a two player season will make it better as well. I think that should be a Diva season mode, It doesn’t have to be as in depth as the normal season mode but there will be storylines that only appear in Diva season. This will not only give a point to Divas but this will be a good feature to try out.

Maybe a pre-season mode for created where you face Jobbers that are mixed together like the unknowns on Smackdown 2. These will be rubbish superstars and will give you some experience before you take on the better superstars.

More than one created superstars as well.

Creation

The CAW system is good by could use some improvement; your created should have their weight announced as well as their home town. More home towns should be added to get everyone’s real towns in the game, such as Cameron NC. The names of your created wresters could be announced phonetically so their names will be read out properly, as well as getting rid of the lag between the announcing. When finished creating, you should pick a pose for your character to do on the character select screen instead of the crappy photograph thing. Also creating numerous attires for created wrestlers would be brilliant.
They could add a ‘create your own crowd sign’ option; this would be simple and could be like the spray paint creation from Tony Hawks Underground 2. What about a create a chant option this could be selecting a phrase such as ‘Lets Go’ or ‘Come On’ then followed by your superstars name. These are two small options that would make the created superstars better.

Create a moveset is good, but they should not take out any moves and bring back the old moves as well as adding new moves. Tag Finishers and Table Finishers would be good and they will be simple to do. To do a Tag Finisher one person would grapple and the other would press L1. For table finishers you could hold them by the head form a grapple, then drag them to the side of the table and press L1.

Create an Entrance should be adapted so you can have lots more options and fireworks, get rid of the constant loading screens as well. Tag entrances and trio entrances would be good to create as well.

Creating a titontron video would be excellent; these could involve replays that are saved by the game. (Idea)

More than 30 Superstars, about 50 Layers and no crotch/ass blur.

GM Mode

Adding velocity and heat will make GM mode better, you can only appear on Heat or Velocity if you have popularity lower than a certain number, this will allow you to use all your superstars considering they expand your roster. These shows will be less demanding and Funaki Vs Kid Kash would be rated high even though they would have poor popularity. Creating different types of promo such as parties, sex, disrespecting someone or admiring yourself would do different things to your popularity. You could see your show in quick clips instead of the WWE.com thing. Less injuries and fatigue will allow you to beat the opposing show.

Contract negotiations would be better so you can barter with a superstar and give them a title shot and pay them less money.

As well as different ways to trade superstars and you should choose who wins the matches.

Matches

Add all the old matches including I Quit. Also add new matches such as Barb Wire steel cage, Texas bull rope, inferno and other matches. Adding the amount of superstars in the ring at once from 6 to 10 this will allow a survivor series match. I would also like to see a 20 man battle royal where the momentum bars are not there and you can see the whole screen. The royal rumble should completely change the way you eliminate them, Funaki could not eliminate Big Show or Kane.

People say that Divas are useless, so why don’t they add more Diva only matches including Bra and Panties, Lingerie Pillow fights and paddle on the pole matches.

Misc

I think that the unlocked items should be attires, movesets, screensavers and match types and other small things.

You should be able to take more than the three original weapons from under the ring.

Ability to store replays.

ive said it every year since SYN came out[not here of course] but i say have a Create-a mode Disc. seperate from the game itself. have it bought seperately, or in a bundle I DONT CARE!! 2 discs would allow

oh and i hate that every year i have to play through season mode to get EXP. This year they allievated it to some extent.

also, have CAW data carry over from SVR 2006 saved data.
