I'm a total newbie at this. I did it first time yesterday.
I would just like to know how do i use a normal picture on a background without getting the background of the pictuer too. Know what i mean? :S

EDIT: Okay ^^ That might be a little hard for me to learn. So i'm going with PSD's.

How can i move a PSD from the "picture" that it's on to another background? It won't come out of the "box".
By the way i'm using Adobe Photoshop 7.0.

1) Merge the image with the background, press ctrl+shift+u to make it greyscale, then press ctrl+b and do the color balance.
2) Set a layers blending mode to hard light, and press ctrl + u, then colorize, then mess with the hue and saturation until it looks good.
3) Press ctrl+u on your layer, and press colorize. Color it so its the same color as your bg. Go to image>adjustments>brightness/contrast and mess around with that until you get somethin cool.
