*In The Ring* We are welcomed to the brand new GCW by its owner Shane McMahon. “The GCW has taken a turn into the unknown. We are the ONLY federation out there that is strictly for the fast-paced, high-flying wrestlers that others call Cruiserweights or X-Division. Tonight you will see the beginning of tournaments that will decide who will be our champions. Tonight will start with a preview match. These nine men will fight in an elimination match next week at Battle Of The Champions 2, but tonight they will come out to show their skills in a match that is sure to deliver it’s money’s worth. Without further ado, the flood gates are now open!”
*Tajiri, Spanky & Jody Fleisch v. Paul London, Chris Sabin & Chavo Guerrero v. Essa Rios, Petey Williams & Kid Kash* The match starts out with Fleisch, Sabin, and Rios in the ring representing their teams. There was great back and forth action between these three until Essa Rios was knocked onto the apron by a dropkick from Chris Sabin. Sabin turned around and kicked Fleisch in the gut. He looked for the Cradle Shock, but Fleisch struggled and got off his shoulders. Essa Rios was up and he hit a springboard moonsault off of the top rope onto both of them! He crawled to his corner and he tagged in Kid Kash, who immediately hit a hurracanrana on Sabin, but Fleisch tagged in Spanky. He hit a few arm drags onto Kash. Sabin tagged in Paul London and he seemed to team with Spanky against Kash. This brought in Essa Rios and Petey Williams and they brawled with London & Spanky. Tajiri & Fleisch brawled on the outside with Chavo & Sabin. Kash went over the top and hit a helo onto Tajiri, Fleisch, and Chavo on the outside. In the ring, Spanky & London knocked down Essa, but Spanky turned around and was hit by the Canadian Destroyer! Petey Williams then went to hit it on London, but Sabin came in and hit a Cradle Shock. He went over the top with a plancha to the outside as Paul London hit the 450 onto Essa Rios for the pin. WINNERS: Paul London, Chris Sabin & Chavo Guerrero
*Hurricane v. Stevie Richards v. Jason Cross * Hurricane comes down for the first of three TV Title tournament matches. He is followed by Stevie Richards and Jason Cross. Hurricane & Jason Cross teamed up a little against Richards, sending him out of the ring, but that quickly turned when Hurricane hit Cross with a clothesline to the back of the head. He went up to the top and hit a super bulldog. He set Cross up for the Vertabreaker, but Stevie hit him with the Super Kick. He went for the pin, but Cross broke it up. Stevie took control of Cross and Went for the Super Kick, but Cross ducked and Stevie landed on the top rope crotch first. Hurricane rolled up Jason Cross from behind and got the pin with his feet on the ropes! WINNER: Hurricane
*Scotty 2 Hotty v. Jerrelle Clark v. Akio* Scotty 2 Hotty was first down to the ring, and he was waiting for the next man when Akio’s music hits. Akio ran from the crowd and pulled Scotty out of the ring by the foot. He whipped him intro the barricade and hit his head off of the steel steps. Jerrelle Clark ran down and hit Akio from behind. He rolled him into the ring as Scotty was being checked out by the medical staff. He hit an enziguri to Akio and then locked on a sleeper hold. Akio rolled out of it and hit a back suplex. He whipped him to the corner and ran at him. He then hit the back flip kick. He lifted him up for the Michinoku Driver, but Clark struggled out of it and hit a German suplex. He went up to the top and went for the 630, but Akio moved out of the way. He went up to the top and hit the Corkscrew Moonsault to pick up the three count. WINNER: Akio
*Teddy Hart v. Spike Dudley v. Shannon Moore* Spike Dudley was the first to get down to the ring and he set up a table in the corner and one on the outside. Shannon Moore was out next and he brawled with Spike until Teddy Hart ran out. He bounced off the top rope and hit a dropkick to both men. He went up top to put the match away quickly, but Shannon bounced off the top rope and took him down with a hurracanrana. Spike nailed him from behind and started to pound his head in. Hart got back up and hit an enziguri. He hit a standing Shooting Star Press to Moore, but Spike broke up the pin. He set him up for the Dudley Dog, but he got pushed off over the top rope all the way down and through the table on the outside. Shannon threw Teddy over the top rope and climbed to the top turnbuckle. He then hit a Whisper In The Wind, but he landed badly and all three men were down on the outside. Moore was the first to get up and he was limping around. Teddy Hart jumped up and kicked him in the leg. He stomped on him some more and rolled Spike into the ring. He went up to the top and tried the Shooting Star Leg Drop, but Spike rolled out of the way. He dropkicked him in the face. He picked hi up and whipped him towards the table in the corner, but the ref got in his way and was knocked down. Spike then whipped him into the table and ran at him, but Teddy moved and Spike crashed through the table. Teddy pulled him into the middle of the ring. Shannon Moore was getting on the apron, but Teddy dropkicked him back into the barricade. He went up top and hit the Open Hart Surgery (Shooting Star Elbow Drop). The ref slowly woke up and counted the pin. WINNER: Teddy Hart
*In The Ring* Shane McMahon comes out and announced that the six men that lost tonight in the TV Title matches will fight next week in the Finisher Challenge match. To be eliminated, someone must hit their finishing move one someone else. The match will continue until only one man is left in the match. He also announced that the next match will continue until only three teams are still left in the match. Both members of a team must be eliminated for the team to be eliminated.
*Triple X v. Arabia Princes v. Franchise Players v. SAT v. Mexicools v. Hardy Boyz v. World’s Greatest Tag Team* All fourteen men were standing in the ring and the match started out with an all-out brawl. The SAT and Mexicools brawled in one corner as the Hardy Boyz and the Franchise Players were fighting in the other corner. Both Triple X and the Arabian Princes teamed up to try and eliminate the World’s Greatest Tag Team, but Daivari was the first to be eliminated. Psicosis took out Jose Maximo, but Joel then threw him out. Super Crazy tried to throw him over the top, and Sonjay Dutt came up from behind him to eliminate both of them. The SAT and Mexicools are both out of this match! All four of them brawled up the ramp backstage. Matt Bentley went to Super Kick Matt Hardy out of the ring, but he ducked and hit the Side Effect. Jeff Hardy threw Kazarian out after a Twist Of Fate. Charlie Haas tried to German suplex Matt Hardy, but Matt Bentley ran at them and Super Kicked Matt in the face and he was sent over the top rope. Elix Skipper climbed to the top and hit the New School ropewalk hurracanrana on Charlie Haas, sending him to the corner. Low Ki set Matt Bentley up for the Low Ki, but Sonjay dropkicked him in the face. He tried to get him over the top, but Elix Skipper hit him from behind. Shelton Benjamin hit a top rope clothesline that eliminated Sonjay Dutt, Elix Skipper and himself! All four of the remaining wrestlers all backed into a separate corner to regroup. They all met in the middle of the ring as Jeff Hardy brawled with Matt Bentley and Charlie Haas fought with Low Ki. Low Ki went for a kick to the back of the head, but Haas ducked and tripped him up. He then locked on the Haas Of Pain. Matt Bentley got Jeff Hardy down after an enziguri and he stood in the corner. He set up for the Super Kick, but Hardy ducked and hit a Twist Of Fate. Low Ki had passed out, but Haas couldn’t pick him up. He hit Hardy from behind and nailed a German Suplex. He set Bentley up against the ropes and tried to lift his feet, but Jeff got up and hit him with a Twist Of Fate. He went up to the top rope for the Swanton, but Matt Bentley pulled the ropes and he landed crotch first on the turnbuckle. Low Ki was just starting to get up as Bentley hit a super hurracanrana. Low Ki hit a Ki Crusher on Matt Bentley and he picked up Charlie Haas. They teamed up and tossed Matt Bentley over the top rope. SURVIVORS: Triple X, The Hardy Boyz and World’s Greatest Tag Team
*RVD, Christopher Daniels, Jushin Thunder Lyger, Samoa Joe & AJ Styles v. Jerry Lynn, Ultimo Dragon, Jamie Noble, Rey Mysterio & Juventud Guerrera* This match is elimination style until only six men are left. Those six men will move on in the Undisputed Title Tournament. The teams didn’t look to easy around each other, but they all shook hands with their partners before it all started. Rey Mysterio and RVD started it off. They went back and forth very quickly, reversing almost every move that was thrown at them. RVD finally connected with a kick to the chest that sent Rey to his corner, where Jerry Lynn tagged himself in. They tied up and delivered a series of reversals that ended with a nasty DDT by Jerry Lynn. He went for the split legged moonsault, but RVD rolled out of the way and he landed on his chest. RVD tagged in Samoa Joe, who went to work with an Irish whip to the corner and some running knees. Christopher Daniels blind tagged in and Samoa Joe shoved him back. They got in each other’s faces until AJ Styles jumped over the rope and separated them. This gave Lynn enough time to tag in Ultimo Dragon. He hit a running dropkick to Christopher Daniel’s back, knocking him down and sending him straight into Samoa Joe. The other three members of his team restrained Samoa Joe as Ultimo Dragon set up for the Asai DDT, but Daniels countered it into a reverse suplex. He stomped on him and locked on an STF. Ultimo made it to the ropes, and Daniels tagged in Jushin Lyger. He and Ultimo traded moves back and forth until they both went for a dropkick and missed. They got on their knees as the fans were going wild for them. They tied up again and Ultimo took the advantage with an arm drag. He hit a kick to the head and went for the Asai Moonsault, as Jushin Lyger rolled onto his stomach to dodge it. Ultimo landed on his feet and hit a leg drop to the back of Lyger’s head. He went for a roll up, but Jushin Lyger reversed it and got a surprise three count. ULTIMO DRAGON IS ELIMINATED! Jamie Noble comes in and attacks Lyger from behind. He stomped on the back of his head several times. He set him up for the Tigerbomb, but Lyger countered out and hit a desperation clothesline. He crawled to his corner and went for a tag, but both Samoa Joe and Christopher Daniels tried to enter the match. Samoa Joe dropped off the apron as the ref said Daniel’s hand was tagged first, and he is the legal man. Samoa Joe started to walk to the back, but turned around and dragged Daniels out of the ring by his foot. He started to beat on him as AJ Styles and RVD tried to restrain him, but Daniels started to fight back and they were let go. The ref DQed both of them. SAMOA JOE AND CHRISTOPHER DANIELS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED! The next pinfall will be the last as six men will move on to next week’s show. The ref orders AJ Styles to take Daniels place in the match as the legal man. AJ and Noble circled around each other a few times before tying up. AJ was in complete control until Noble left the ring. The ref got to eight before he went back into the ring. He hit a dropkick to AJ’s knee and started to taunt RVD and Jushin Lyger. They ran in and started hitting him until Rey Mysterio and Jerry Lynn came in and brawled with them. AJ got up and realized Juvy was sitting the fight out on the outside, so he ran out there and rolled him into the ring. He hit the Styles Clash on him and then went up for the Spiral Tap. The ref counted the pin even though Juvy wasn’t legal in the match. SURVIVORS: AJ Styles, RVD, Jushin Thunder Lyger, Jerry Lynn, Rey Mysterio, and Jamie Noble
