Smackdown started with a bang with a huge fireworks display and a welcome from Michale Cole and tazz.
Match one
tag match
Big show vs Kurt angle,mark jindrak and Luther reigns
There was big cheers when big show came to the ring but when team angle came the you suck chants where spreading all over the arena,first up it was angle vs big show which big show pretty much dominated and the fight continued until jindrak was tagged into the ring and big show slapped Kurt angle against the ropes and then threw him out of the ring,then jindrak aggressively attacked big show from behind which gave show head and chest injuries and the fight continued in and out the ring until Luther got tagged in and got beaten the hell out of and during the match big show picked up a chair and threw it in the ring and big show kept doing submissions but every time he tried all that happened is that the partners broke the submissions until when Kurt accidentally knocked out the ref big show picked up the chair and hit Luther right on the head with it and gave Luther the chock slam,knocked him out and the match was over,after the match an embarrassed Kurt angle gave big show the low blow before team angles exit.
Match 2
wwe tag champions Eddie and Rey vs the bashams (non title)
it started with Doug basham vs Eddie and Eddie kept on taunting and playing mind games until Rey got the tag and tried to pick up Doug but did not succeed,an tired Doug tried to keep fighting but ended up in the 619 and lost the team the match.
Match 3
united states champion john cena vs carlito (non title)
The match went straight into action as carlito kept on going outside the ring and taunting cena and kept attacking cena from behind and even used cenas you cant see me chant and eventually knocked out cena with his finished,after the match carlito got an apple and spate in the face of cena
After the brake Kurt angle came in with his to henchmen and said
Kurt:earlier tonight you all saw how big show used the steel chair to gain a victory to Luther and that will not be tolerated so Big show you better be prepared because you are dead you here me dead
DONG! the lights go out and takers face appears on the titan tron
Taker:ANGLE! If anyone is doing the killing its me so next week its going to be me and Big show taking on all 3 of your

The lights go back on and angle and his henchmen ran out of the arena
Main event
wwe champion Jbl (with Orlando Jordon) vs booker t (non title)
The match was on the side of booker t as he kept on reversing every move jbl made and the match continued back and forth back and forth until luckily jbl got the cloths line from hell on booker t but booker managed to get the foot on the rope,meanwhile OJ put a chair in the ring and distracted the ref and then jbl hit booker with the chair and got the pin,after the match jbl and OJ celebrated as booker got taken out of the arena with a stretcher
