Please forgive me if this has been posted already, but I've looked everywhere and couldn't find one so my question is:
Is it possible to download the new rosters (like the ones featured on caws.ws) using the AR MAX? And if so, how?

you need AR MAX with USB Stick. Put your USB stick in your computer and download the save into USB Stick that came with AR MAX

It only comes with AR MAX evo edition and maybe newer....

what exactly do you do with the usb stick after you have it? and how do you download the save into the usb stick. also, after you have it downloaded, what do you do with it then. thanks.

You plug the USB stick in to your PC's USB port.
You can download the save to desktop and then drag it to USB Stick.
Then take the USB Stick to PS2 and plug it in and start AR MAX CD.
Max Memory -> USB Stick
hook the save you added there and Uncrush -> Memory Card
If you have already a save in your memory card, you need to delete it or move it to USB stick.
Then just turn power of, change SvR in, turn power back on.

let me make a correction to what these people are telling you, as I feel it's this type of generalization that is what is messing up people and saves... the "USB stick" they are refering to is the MaxDrive. The MaxDrive is the ONLY compatible USB stick made compatible with the PS2. The only way any other can be (and not all can) is to have the MaxDrive software on your PC to install it on the USB stick. To get a MaxDrive by itself, you need to go to codejunkies.com to order it...otherwise, it is sold Bundled with the AR Max Evo Edition: us.codejunkies.com/shop/product.asp?c=US&cr=USD&cs=$&r=0&l=1&ProdID=282so, for everyone that keeps saying "USB stick"...please quit it...you are falsely leading people to believe any USB stick works...only ONE does as sold.
