What if you had a wrestling game that you could basically build from scratch?
ROSTER
Essentially, there is no roster. No default wrestlers. Instead, you can use the CAW system to create your own roster, filling up about 80-100 CAW slots. No more space taken up by wrestlers that you don't want (who uses Mark Jindrak?).
MOVES
Just about every move and every finishing move ever will be included in this game. WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, Japan, Mexico, all moves will be included. There would also be an option to increase finisher strength.
CREATE A WRESTLER
Obviously, the main selling point of the game. With extra space on the hard drive due to no default items, there would be plenty of options for attires, face types, and other items necessary for building good realistic CAWs. There would be about 40-45 layers available, and NO CROTCH BLUR.
CREATE A BELT
Just what it says on the label.
CREATE AN ARENA
Choose from Gymnasium, Small, Medium, Large, and Main Event size arenas. Many customizable options, including ring type, ring size, entrance model, announce location, etc. as well as colors, lighting, and pyros. Of course, with no copyrights, you couldn't create an exact copy of an existing arena.
CREATE AN ENTRANCE
Hopefully using the CAE model from RAW 2 for the XBox.
CREATE A MOVE
Most likely using a combination of existing moves, like the Create a Taunt function in HCTP.
SEASON MODE
You might think this would be a problem, but here's the idea: The season mode would work the same way as HCTP did, and you can still keep voiceovers. There would be about 30 different voice options. You can select champions, tag teams, and competitive divisions (main event, midcarders, jobbers, etc.). Select the arena (or arenas) for the shows, and possibly arenas for pay-per-view events as well. Then as the season begins, you can be thrust into a random storyline.
Any more ideas?
