I know this may not be the right place to post this but I am not sure where else to ask this so here it goes.
Do any of you have any problems doing the top rope finshers like 5-star frog splash or Eddie's frog place ect no matter weather they are laying there knocked out or whatever they always get up before I can pull it off and i was wondering if anyone else had this problem?
Also if you know any suggestions how to get them to stay down long enough please pass them along thanks.

It's pretty tough to do, and I never get to finish anyone with RVD. What I tried to do is either do the spider suplex from behind at the turnbuckle, which will leave them on the ground and you on the ropes, or ad the super last call to his moveset and just do it as fast as you can. Sometimes it works.

whip opponent to turnbuckle run then push square to jump up to the top normally gives u ample time to hit the finisher
or go for leg & arm damage moves they stay down a bit longer if their legs or arms are damaged as well as the body & head

This works for me every time: Expose a turnbuckle by removing a turnbuckle pad and then power irish-whip your opponent to that exposed turnbuckle, then quickly climb on the corner and press L1

I couldn't get 2 caws to do their Aerial Standing Finishers, which was damn annoying, I kept trying over and over(and I beat the crap outta the opponent).

Ariel Standing? The easiest way to do ariel finisher while the opponent is standing is to have On Tope Rope as a running corner attack. I once did a laying Ariel Finisher. I first had to get my opponent in red and then do a powerbomb or some 12 damage move. Then I was able to hit the frog splash.

I found that if you use RVD's springboard kick or his monkey flip from a rope tie up they always stay down but most times fall face down with the kick

easiest way is to knock the ref out get the ringbell and hit your opponent and then pick up the ref and then do the diving move

But I don't think RVD uses to do that kind of things ... (hit the opponent with the ring bell).
It's a real problem on this game.

use a big move to keep them down. I.E. Eddie's 3 Amigo's I'm not sure what hard hitting moves RVD has as I never play with him, but something with high damage keeps them down long enough. I always hit my Swanton bomb w/ my caw

Oddly enough... I've never had this problem. So, I wouldn't be much help here... But do what everyone else is saying.
