Here I plan on posting all the moves that unfortunately didn't make it into the game and then posting moves that are the closest to the real things. Also, I'll post moves that are in the game just under different titles.
Someone did a thread like this for the last couple of these games and they helped me out a great deal so I figure I'll return the favor and do the same here...
Anything that I can't remember at the moment or parts where I mention a move and then mention names only to be ended with "also a few others" or "etc..." I'll update as soon as it comes to me. I'll try to make this as accurate as possible... hopefully naming every superstar that has at one point used these moves either as finishers or signature moves.
I'll start in the Finisher section of the game... Straight from top to bottom...
3 Handed Credenza is a bit like a botched Cradle DDT which used to be Konnan's old WCW finisher, the 187.
The 450 Splash is obvliously the same as Juvi's 450 Splash and the 450 that numerous other light weights have done.
99 Crusher is the Ki Krusher 99 performed by Low Ki and a few others
Air Raid Siren is the Kryptonite Krunch performed by Nova... Also the same as Fit Finlay's move just without the fireman's carry pick up. Rico also did this move a few times when he was with Charlie Haas... no clue what he does now.
Airplane Spin... this was a finisher for a wrestler ages ago... can't recall who at the moment. Early Hogan-era
Amazing Slam & Splash... Ultimate Warriors Gothaman Splash
Ankle Lock... Ken Shamrock's Ankle Lock as well as Angle's.
Armbreaker 3... Nunzio's Arm Breaker... can't recall his name for it.
Atomic Leg Drop 2 & 3.. Hogan's crappy ass finisher
Back & Neckbreaker 2... Like the finisher used by Prince Albert for a short time.
Back Suplex 3... Dr. Death Steve Williams' deadly neck breaking back drop
Back Suplex 8... almost ends like an Angle Slam..
Back Tazzmission 1 & 2... Taz's Tazmission
Backbreaker 2... Jericho's old back breaker... never used as a finisher though.
Backbreaker 3... A lot like Victoria's Black Widow
Backbreaker 6... Christians Falling Reverse choke hold into a back breaker... not a finisher...
Backbreaker 7... Shelton's backbreaker
Backbreaker 11... Backbreaker used by Golddust in the past.
Backbreaker 13... used by a few cruiserweights
Backbreaker 14.... Orton's backbreaker... called something at one time but it escapes me...
Batista Bomb... A powerful Sit-Out Powerbomb... used by numerous wrestlers as finishers and signature moves. Matt Morgan did a similar one during his WWE period.
Belly To Back Slam... A Rock Bottom to the side
Big Boot 2... Basically any big wrestler's signature move but a finisher to Test, Tyson Tomko, Luther Reigns, and Gene Snitsky at different periods... as well as a few others...
Big Boot 3 & 4... Signature move to numerous wrestlers... i.e. Nash, Giant/Big Show, Hogan... etc...
Big Knee Smash... Used frequently by Show and Nash...
Black Out... basically the same as the Complete Shot and the Novacaine... Used by S. Steiner, Rodney Mack, Nova, Edge (Downward Spiral), Kanyon (Flatliner)...etc...
Black Out Hold.. Rodney Macks choke out finisher
Black Widow... Victoria's move
Book End... a tauntine Rock bottom for Booker T... go figure..
Boston Crab... used by many... Chuck Palumbo's Padlock... Nunzio/Little Guido used it with the same name I believe... Basically the new Walls of Jericho... etc...
Brain Damage... New special for Doug Basham... Old special for Reese and a few other jobbers...
Bulldog 4... Maven's special for a time, Rick Steiner's top rope bulldog... a few others...
Camel Clutch 1... Scott Steiner's Steiner Recliner... Slaughter's Cobra Clutch... few others...
Camel Clutch 3... same as 1 just without Steiner's taunt.
Camel Clutch 4... I think this was Slaughter's taunt but nothing too weird that it couldn't be used as any other wrestlers move...
Chick Kick... Trish's move
Choke Slingshot... A-Train's Decapitator? I think it was A-Train...
Chokeslam 3... Rikishi & Test's choke slam
Chokeslam 4... One of Taker's Choke Slam's from the other games...
Chokeslam 5... Looks like Kan'e Choke Slam to me...
Chokeslam 8... Lesnar's kick reversal... Also another wrestlers special that I can't think of...
Clothesline 8 is Rock's clothesline
Clothesline 9 looks like Lex Lugers old WWF finisher when he was The Narcinast? (spell check) Basically a flying forearm
Clothesline 11, 15, & 20 are Lesnar's clothesline
Clothesline 23 could be JBL's double clothesline when he wants to destroy a jobber... seen him do this to Funaki a few times on Velocity
Clothesline 24 is also the Rock's
Clotheline Combo Pin is another finisher the Ultimate Warrior used to hit the Gothaman Splash
Clothesline From Hell.. JBL
Cloverleaf is Dean Malenko's Texas Cloverleaf... also used by D'Lo Brown and Stone Cold.
Cobra Clutch 2... Slaughters old Cobra Clutch as well as the finisher for a few other wrestlers.
Cobra Clutch Bomb is used by Hurricane... can't recall what he called it.
Combination 3 is Shane O'Mac's hop/hit combo
Combination 5 is RVD's kick combo
Complete Shot... see Black Out
Corkscrew Body Pin is Akio/Yangs Yang Time... also could be used as Blitzkrieg's Sky Twister Press...
Crippler Crossface... Benoit
Cross Powerbomb... Top Rope setup for the Outsider/Razor's Edge performed by Razor/Hall... and a few others... Funaki does this move as well.
Crossface Chickenwing... Bob Buckland, Norman Smiley, Looks like the Black Out Hold as well for Rodney Mack... etc...
Curtain Call... I don't know what the hell they were thinking with this move in the last few games but the Curtain Call is an elevated reverse DDT... basically the Saving Grace... this is just a bunch of garbage thrown in before a normal falling neckbreaker.
Cutter... Buh Buh Cutter, Diamond Cutter, Kanyon Cutter, Tommy Dreamers Cutter... etc...
Cyclone 1 & 2... the F-5... Lesner... etc...
Dash Knife Edge Chop is what Tatanka used as a finisher... the old indian from WWF
DDT 1 looks similar to the Edgecution in the way it elevates... Gangrel's Impaler replacement...
DDT 3... I've seen Raven do this as a reversal into his Raven Effect... looks the same.
DDT 4 is the Asai DDT performed by Ultimo Dragon
DDT 5 is a standing Tornado DDT... Chavo's WCW finisher...etc..
DDT 6 is a scoop slam into a reverse DDT... Could be used for Sting's Scorpion Death Drop or anyone who did a Reverse DDT.
DDT 7 is Konnan's actual Cradle DDT called the 187 from his early WCW days.
DDT 9 is known as Lita's DDT
DDT 11 is The Rock's DDT with the hip-up.
DDT 12 is just a powerbomb reversal into a DDT
DDT 13 is a body scissors into a DDT.. performed a lot by Juvi and Mysterio
DDT 14 is another move I've seen turned into the Raven Effect, basically ducking a clothesline into a DDT
DDT 15 is a good Raven Effect/Evenflow or the DDT used by Jake the Snake
DDT 16 is probably the closest to Gangrel's Impaler or the Edgecution... just a different setup.
DDT 17 is just a reverse DDT... Sting's Scorpion Death Drop, The Hillbilly's (Hillbilly Jim etc...) and Midian's Slop Drop, Shawn Stasiac's Meat Grinder... etc...
DDT 18 is Christian Cage's Falling Reverse DDT
DDT 19 is a head scissor set up into a DDT
DDT 20 is a top rope Tornado Reverse DDT
DDT 21 is a top rope back flip into a DDT that Jeff Hardy used to do.
DDT 22 is the spike DDT from the top rope that the Bashams, Orton, and numerous others have used.
DDT 24 would be a good DDT finisher for Raven or Jake the Snake...
Death Valley Driver... Spicoli Driver, Dreamer Driver, Saturns DVD, Godfather's Pimp Drop, Dupree's Lor Driver... etc...
Deep Breath 1.. Golddust, need I say more?
Diving Clothesline... anyone with a top rope clothesline finisher? Use this...
Diving Cross Body Pin 1... The *sorta* 5 star Cross Body that caused Randy Orton to break a toe.... used to be done by Orton and Paul London... etc...
Diving Elbow... Austin's diving elbow from the top... Alos basically Jerry Lawler's elbow crusher finisher.
Diving Elbow Drop... anyone with an elbow drop finisher just without a pin.
