Afterburn

Shane McMahon comes out and welcomes everyone to the first ever IWF Afterburn. He says there are 4 titles. One is the Intercontinental Championship. Another are the Tag Team Championships. Third is the X-Division Championship which will be defended shortly and last is the World Heavyweight Championship. He says he is still thinking of matches that will take place at the next ppv and leaves.


X-Division Championship: Over The Top Battle Royal
RVD vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Psicosis vs. Chris Sabin vs. Super Crazy vs. Matt Bently vs. Juventud

Shelton Benjamin eliminates Psicosis

Winner and X-Division= RVD


Y2J is in Shane McMahon's office. He asks Shane when he will be giving him the World Heavyweight Championship. Shane tells him he just thought of a match for Boiling Point. It will be a 6 Way Anything Goes Elimination Match to name the first ever World Heavyweight Champion. Shane also says he hasnt decided who should be in the match. He told Y2J that he will anounce it next week. Shane said he will choose the people based on what happens tonight.


HBK vs. Rhino

Near the end of the match, Rhino tries to Clothesline HBK. HBK ducked and Rhino got the ref. Rhino turns back and gives HBK a neckbreaker. Rhino went to get a chair. He hit HBK and then pinned but the ref was still down. Rhino got mad and was getting ready to hit the Gore. When Rhino was about to hit the Gore, HBK hit him with Sweet Chin Music. The ref got up and HBK pinned.

Winner= HBK


Kurt Angle was in an interview. He said tonight, he will show Shane why he should be chosen to be in the main event for the World Heavyweight Championship.


Triple H vs. Chris Benoit

After a long match, Benoit decides to lock in the Sharpshooter. All of a sudden, Rhino ran to the ring and Gored Benoit. Triple H got up and hit the Pedigree on Benoit for the pin.

Winner= Triple H

After the match, Rhino started beating Benoit outside the arena and backstage. While that was happening, Triple H picked up the mic and started saying that when Shane chooses him as one of the six people, he will win the World Heavyweight Championship. Right after, Goldberg rushes to the ring and Spears Triple H.


There is an interview with the Dudley Boyz. They said that they will win the Tag Team Championships and the Hardy Boyz will be lying through a broken table after the match.


Y2J vs. AJ Styles

As AJ went for a Spiral Tap, Angle came to the ring and pushed him off. Angle gave AJ and Y2J an Angle Slam afterwards. He then gave AJ an Ankle Lock as the show ended.

Afterburn

Shane McMahon comes to the ring. He said he finally decided who the 6 people will be in the main event for Boiling Point. He chose Triple H, Y2J, Goldberg, Shawn Michales, Kurt Angle and AJ Styles. Randy Orton came to the ring and started complaining about not being in the main event. Shane said that he was only aloud to choose 6 people and Randy Orton was not one of them. Shane said that he would get a chance to be the #1 Contender if he could beat a certain man who also wanted a title shot. Orton asked who it was. All of a sudden, Abyss ran to the ring and Orton walked right into the Black Hole Slam. As Orton was on the ground, Shane said it would be Randy Orton vs. Abyss at Boiling Point. He also announced there will be a 6 Man Tag Team Match for tonight's main event.


Kurt Angle was in an interview. He said he will be victorious at Boiling Point. He also mentioned what he did last week. Angle was proud of what he did and will do it again tonight. AJ came out of no where and attacked Angle during his interview. Some officials came and held AJ back.


Triple Threat Match
Shelton Benjamin vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Chris Sabin

The match ended in a no contest when the Mexicools interfered and attacked everyone in the ring


Jeff Hardy vs. D-Von Dudley

As Jeff was climbing the turnbuckle, Bubba came and hit Jeff with a chair. Matt Hardy came to the ring to help his brother but got hit by the 3-D instead. Both Hardyz were on the floor as The Dudley Boyz left.


There was an interview with Matt Bently. Bently said he was given a title shot for the X-Division championship. Bently said there will be a new champ at Boiling Point.


Goldberg and HBK were shown backstage getting ready for their match. Goldberg said that even though they are partners tonight, they wont be at Boiling Point.


Rhino vs. Chris Benoit

Rhino was waiting in the ring for Benoit. Benoit ran to the ring and started brawling with Rhino. After about 15 minutes, Benoit decides to go for the Diving Headbut. Rhino moves out of the way. Rhino was going for the Gore but Benoit moved out of the way and locked in the Crippler Crossface. Rhino tapped.

Winner= Benoit

Eddie Guerrero comes to the ring with a chair and hits Benoit and Rhino


Abyss vs. Sabu

Abyss beat Sabu with a Black Hole Slam

After the match, Orton came to the ring and hit Abyss with the RKO


Triple H is in an interview and says he will win the World title and nobody is going to stop him.


6 Man Tag Team Match
HBK, Goldberg and AJ Styles vs. Triple H, Y2J and Kurt Angle

HBK and Y2J were in the ring are in the ring while Kurt Angle and AJ Styles and Goldberg and Triple H were brawling outside. Jericho goes for the Enziguri but HBK countered and hit him with Sweet Chin Music

After the match, everyone began brawling

Boiling Point

6 Man Tag Team Match
Shelton Benjamin, Chris Sabin and Rey Mysterio vs. Mexicools

Shelton Benjamin was on the top rope getting ready to do a clothesline to Juventud. When he was about to get Juventud, Super Crazy and Psicosis came in and double drop kicked Shelton. Shelton rolled over and tagged in Sabin. Sabin hit the Cradle Shock on Juventud. Right after, Super Crazy and Psicosis did a clothesline to Sabin. While Sabin was falling out of the ring, he tagged Rey. Rey ran in and threw Super Crazy and Psicosis out of the ring. Juventud was about to hit Rey, but Rey moved out of the way and hit 619 on Juventud. He went for the West Coast Pop but Juventud moved out of the way and hit the Juvi Driver. Super Crazy and Psicosis came in the ring and did the Top rope leg drop and moonsault. Juventud pinned.

Winners= Mexicools


Intercontinental Championship: Triple Threat
Chris Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Rhino

Benoit and Eddie were in the ring waiting for Eddie. When Eddie got in the ring, Benoit and Rhino attacked him. They were teaming up on Eddie because of what happened when Eddie hit them both with a chair. When Rhino was about to hit the Gore on Eddie, Benoit threw Rhino out of the ring. Eddie then attacked Benoit. Eddie hit the Three Amigos on Benoit. He then climbed the turnbuckle. Eddie tried to hit the Frog Splash on Benoit but Benoit dodged it and locked in the Sharpshooter on Eddie. Rhino came in and Gored Benoit. Rhino pinned.

Winner and Intercontinental Champion: Rhino


X-Division Championship:
RVD vs. Matt Bently

Bently went for the Super Kick but RVD caught his leg. RVD then hit a Super Kick of his own. RVD climbed the turnbuckle. Bently ran and punched him. Bently was going to go for a Super Hurracanranna but RVD pushed him off and hit the 5 Star Frog Splash

Chris Jericho was in an interview. He said Shane made a good decision for choosing him and he wont let the Jerichoholics down.


#1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship
Randy Orton vs. Abyss

Abyss tried to go for the Black Hole Slam, but Randy Orton reversed it into an RKO. He pinned, but only got a 2 count. Randy Orton couldn't believe it and Abyss got angry. Abyss got up and hit Orton with a Big Boot. When Abyss and the ref turned around and listened to the crowd, Orton hit Abyss with a Low Blow and a School Boy for the pin.

Tag Team Championship: Hardcore Tag Team Match
Hardy Boyz vs. Dudleyz

The Hardyz and Bubba were down. D-Von went to the outside and brought in a table. Matt Hardy got up and hit the Twist of Fate to D-Von. Jeff got up and placed Bubba on the table. Matt and Jeff each climbed one side of the turnbuckle. Matt did a leg drop and Jeff did a swanton bomb to Bubba Ray Dudley through the table. Jeff Hardy pinned.

World Heavyweight Championship: 6 Way Anything Goes Elimination Match
Triple H vs. AJ Styles vs. Y2J vs. Goldberg vs. HBK vs. Kurt Angle

HBK went for Sweet Chin Music on Triple H but Goldberg came and Speared HBK's groin. Goldberg pinned and eliminated HBK. Goldberg spit in HBK's face and tossed him out of the ring. Triple H tried to hit the Pedigree on AJ but AJ countered into a Styles Clash and pinned Triple H to eliminate him. Goldberg went for a Jackhammer on Kurt Angle, but HBK ran to the ring and hit Goldberg with Sweet Chin Music. Kurt Angle pinned and eliminated Goldberg. AJ went for a Spiral Tap on Y2J but Jericho moved and hit AJ with a Lionsault and eliminated AJ. Jericho turned around and saw Angle. Immediately, Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho. Kurt Angle grabbed Y2J's ankle and put him in the Ankle Lock. Jericho couldnt take it and had to tap.

Winner and World Heavyweight Champion: Kurt Angle

Shane McMahon comes to the ring. He calls out Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle comes out with his World Heavyweight Championship. Shane congratulates Angle on his big win at Boiling Point. Kurt Angle says he will have a long title reign. Randy Orton comes out. He said that he is the #1 Contender for his World title and will soon be the World Heavyweight Champion. Orton and Angle start having a stare down. Shane tells both of them that Orton is not going to be the only #1 Contender. He says that in the next few weeks, there will be a tournament to name the other #1 Contender and the tournament will start tonight. Angle and Orton start yelling at Shane as he left the ring. 1st Quarter Final Match of Tournament
HBK vs. Goldberg

Goldberg walks to the ring as the fans were booing. He waits for HBK. HBK's music starts playing, but nobody came out. All of a sudden, HBK attacked Goldberg from behind. HBK started with back chops and submission moves. Later on in the match, Goldberg started taking control of the match. Goldberg went for the Spear but HBK dodged it. HBK went for Sweet Chin Music but Goldberg ducked and ran against the rope and hit the Spear. Goldberg pinned but HBK kicked out after a 2 count. Goldberg then went for Jackhammer but HBK reversed it into Sweet Chin Music and pinned.

Winner= HBK


Tag Team Match
RVD and Ultimo Dragon vs. Super Crazy and Psicosis

Ultimo Dragon was going for a Dragonrama on Psicosis but Super Crazy pushed Ultimo off the turnbuckle to the outside. Ultimo Dragon landed on the steps and was hurt. While the ref wasnt looking, Juventud did a Suplex to Ultimo on the steps. RVD came and chased Juventud away and helped Ultimo up. Psicosis came and did a Baseball Slide to RVD and Ultimo Dragon.

Winners by ringout= Mexicools (Super Crazy and Psicosis)

After the match, the Mexicools said they all want title shots. Shane came out and said Juventud will get a title shot for the X-Divison Championship and Super Crazy and Psicosis will get a chance to be the #1 Contenders for the Tag Team Championship.


2nd Quarter Final Match of Tournament
Abyss vs. Chris Benoit

Abyss was winning most of the match. As Abyss went for a Big Boot, Benoit ducked and hit Multiple German Suplex. Benoit did his taunt and climbed the turnbuckle. Benoit jumped off the turnbuckle to try and hit the Diving Headbut, but Abyss caught him and hit the Black Hole Slam.

Winner= Abyss


Rhino was in an interview. He said that he won the Intercontinental Championship at Boiling Point and will win the World Heavyweight Championship. He also said his match is next so whoever he faces better get ready.


3rd Quarter Final Match of Tournament
Rhino vs. AJ Styles

After brawling for about 10 minutes, Rhino decided to go for the Gore. AJ Styles jumped in the air and Rhino went straight into the turnbuckle. AJ grabbed Rhino and hit him with the Styles Clash and pinned.

Winner= AJ Styles


Chris Jericho was in an interview. He said he let the Jerichoholics down at Boiling Point and he will make it up tonight. Kurt Angle came and said he made Jericho tap out last night. He also said it was Jericho's fault that he is the World Heavyweight Champion. Jericho and Angle had a stare down until Orton came and attacked Angle.


Last Quarter Final of Tournament
Chris Jericho vs. Triple H

As Jericho went to the ring. Triple H attacked him. Triple H was dominating most of the match. Jericho finally started taking over the match. Y2J was able to hit the Lionsault but Triple H put his foot on the rope. Jericho tried to hit Triple H with a Clothesline but got the ref. Kurt Angle came to the ring and started beating up Jericho as Triple H climbed the turnbuckle. When he tried to hit Jericho with a chair, Triple H jumped off the turnbuckle. Jericho moved out of the way and Angle hit Triple H's knee. Jericho threw Angle out of the ring and locked in the Walls of Jericho on Triple H. The ref got up and saw Triple H tap out.

Winner= Chris Jericho

After the match, Jericho and Angle started brawling. Orton came out and all 3 were brawling. All of a sudden, Abyss, AJ Styles, and Shawn Michaels came out and brawled with them.

Triple H comes out and calls out Kurt Angle. Angle comes to the ring. Triple H said because of him, he has a knee injury and will have to miss time off. Triple H said he wants him when he comes back. Kurt Angle starts laughing and attacks Triple H. He hits HHH with his championship belt. He then started attacking Triple H's knee. After that he decided to put Triple H in the Ankle Lock. Kurt Angle left.


The Hardy Boyz are shown backstage talking to Shane. The Hardyz asked Shane about the Dudley Boyz. Shane said that they are taking time off. He said the Mexicools will get a chance tonight to be the #1 Contenders for their Tag Team Championships. Shane also told them that they would both be in a Singles Match tonight. Rhino came in Shane's office. Shane told him he will be defending the Intercontinental Championship against Eddie Guerrero. Rhino got mad and told Shane he damaged his shoulder last week. Shane said he doesnt care and he will still defend the title.


Jeff Hardy vs. Juventud

Jeff Hardy was winning most of the match. Jeff tried to hit the Twist of Fate on Juventud but Juventud pushed Hardy into the ropes and hit him with a Dropkick. Juventud climbed the turnbuckle, but Jeff stopped him and hit a Super Hurracanranna. Jeff then did a Swanton Bomb. Super Crazy and Psicosis came to ringside. They distracted Jeff. Juventud got up and did a School Boy to Jeff for the pinfall.

Winner= Juventud

After the match, Psicosis and Super Crazy came in and attacked Jeff. Matt Hardy came in to try to save Jeff but the Mexicools teamed up on him. All of a sudden RVD came to the ring and saved the Hardyz. Shane McMahon came out and said that there will be a 6 Man Tag Team Match. It will be the X-Divison Champion RVD and the Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz vs. The Mexicools.


Intercontinental Championship: Singles Match
Rhino vs. Eddie Guerrero

Rhino was dominating most of the match until his shoulder started hurting. Eddie Guerrero noticed him holding his shoulder so he started attcking it. Eddie Guerrero ran against the rope and was going for a Clothesline but Rhino ducked and Eddie got the ref. Rhino then hit him with a Gore. Rhino pinned but the ref was down. Rhino shoulder began hurting so he layed against the turnbuckle. Eddie got up and got a chair. He hit Rhino and pinned. The ref didnt see him hit Rhino with a chair.

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion= Eddie Guerrero


Randy Orton was shown backstage in an interview. He said he doesnt care if the other Contender is AJ Styles, Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho or Abyss because it will be him who is going to win the World Heavyweight Championship at The Resolution. Abyss came and was having a stare down with Orton. Orton said that he beat Abyss at Boiling Point and the same thing will happen if he is the other Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship.


1st Semi Final of Tournament
Shawn Michaels vs. Abyss

Shawn Michaels went for the Diving Elbow. Abyss moved out of the way. Abyss got up and hit HBK with a Chokeslam. Abyss pinned but only got a 2 count. Abyss then went for a Black Hole Slam but HBK reversed it into a DDT. HBK pinned but also got a 2 count. Abyss went to the outside to grab a chair. He brought it into the ring. The ref was in Abyss's way and tried to stop him from hitting HBK. The ref got the chair and brought it to the outside. Goldberg came in and Speared HBK while the ref wasnt looking. Goldberg left the ring and Abyss pinned.

Winner= Abyss

Goldberg came and took the mic and challenged HBK to a match at The Resolution and left.


Rhino was in an interview. He said it was AJ Styles' fault he lost the title. If he didnt move out of the way, he wouldnt have went straight into the turnbuckle last week. Rhino said AJ will pay.


Matt Hardy vs. Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle was playing with Matt Hardy. When Angle went for an Angle Slam, Matt Hardy countered and hit a Twist of Fate. Matt pinned, but Angle kicked out. Matt decided to go for a Leg Drop but Angle got up and hit a Super Angle Slam. He then locked in the Ankle Lock. Hardy tapped.

Winner= Kurt Angle


2nd Semi Final Match of Tournament
Chris Jericho vs. AJ Styles

Both men shook hands before the match. As Jericho went for Lionsault, AJ lifted up his knees. AJ was going for a Styles Clash, but Y2J countered and locked in the Walls of Jericho. AJ was able to get the rope. Both men were down. AJ Styles got up and went for a Spiral Tap. As AJ clicbed the turnbuckle, Rhino came and pushed him off. Y2J saw AJ was on the floor and hit him with a Lionsault for the pin.

Rhino comes out of the ring. Rhino said AJ cost him his Intercontinental Championship and his chance to face Orton and Angle at The Resolution and wants a match against him at the next ppv. He said he wants the winner to be the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Goldberg came out. Goldberg took the mic and said he got screwed out of the 6 Man Anything Goes Elimination Match at Boiling Point and in his match against HBK after Boiling Point. Goldberg said if there was going to be any #1 Contender Match at The Resolution, he should be in it. Goldberg and Rhino had a stare down. All of a sudden, HBK and AJ Styles attacked them from behind. HBK started brawling with Goldberg outside while AJ Styles was brawling with Rhino inside. As Rhino and Goldberg started walking away, Shane came out. He took the mic and said that there are a couple of announcements he had. The first was to remind the people that X-Division Champion RVD and the Tag Team Champions The Hardy Boyz are going to face the Mexicools in a 6 Man Tag Team Match tonight. Second was that there is a new match scheduled for tonight. There will be an Over the Top Battle Royal to determine the #1 Contender to face Eddie Guerrero at The Resolution. Rhino and Goldberg started surrounding Shane. Shane said he didnt forget about them and said he came up with a match for The Resolution. It will be Rhino and Goldberg vs. AJ Styles and Shawn Michaels to determine the 2 #1 Contenders for the World Heavyweight Championship. Shawn Michaels and AJ Styles started staring at Goldberg and Rhino.


6 Man Tag Team Match
RVD and The Hardy Boyz vs. Mexicools

Jeff Hardy started the match along with Psicosis. Jeff attacked Psicosis right away. After Jeff hit a few moves on Psicosis, he tagged Matt. Matt started attacking Psicosis. Super Crazy got off the ringside. Matt through Psicosis at the turnbuckle. When Matt was about to hit a clothesline to Psicosis, Super Crazy grabbed Matt's leg and tripped him. Psicosis dragged Matt and tagged Juventud. Juventud started doing some combinations on Matt and then tagged Super Crazy. Super Crazy went for his Moonsault but Matt moved out of the way. Super Crazy got up and tagged Juventud. Juventud picked up Matt, but Matt hit a Twist of Fate right after. Matt tagged RVD. RVD went straight for Juventud and then went for the other 2. RVD turned arpound and hit a Super Kick on Juventud. RVD climbed to turnbuckle. Psicosis got up and pushed RVD off. Jeff Hardy came out and jumped over the rope and attcked Psicosis. Juventud got up and tagged Super Crazy. Super Crazy went for a clothesline but RVD countered and hit an Arm Drag. RVD climbed the turnbuckle and hit a 5 Star Frog Splash for the pinfall.

Winners= RVD and The Hardy Boyz


Paul London vs. Tajiri

Paul London and Tajiri did a lot of high flying action. Tajiri did a lot of kicks to London. Tajiri was able to put London in the Tarantula. As Tajiri went for Buzzaw Kick, London ducked and did a Drop Kick to Tajiri. Paul London started winning the match. Paul London went for a Super Hurracanranna but Tajiri pushed Londopn off. Tajiri jumped off and hit London with a Missle Drop Kick from the turnbuckle. Tajiri pinned but London put his foot on the rope. Tajiri got angry and threw London at the turnbuckle. London stopped before he hit the turnbuckle and ran toward Tajiri and hit him with a clothesline. London climbed the turnbuckle. London was about to hit the 450 Splash but Tajiri spit out the Green Mist and moved out of the way. The ref DQ him.

Winner by DQ= Paul London

Tajiri attacked London after the match and hit him with a Buzzaw Kick.


Chris Jericho was shown backstage. He said tongiht is the final match of the tournament and the Jerichoholics wont be disappointed. Abyss came by and had stare down. Abyss spit in Jericho's face. Y2J attacked Abyss and the 2 started brawling.


#1 Contender for the Intercontinental Championship: Over The Top Battle Royal
Chris Benoit vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Sabu vs. Chris Sabin

Chris Benoit and Chris Sabin were brawling while Sabu and Shelton Benjamin were. Benoit got eliminated when Benoit jumped off the turnbuckle to attck Sabu. Sabu did a Missle Dropkick to him and he fell to the outside. Shelton Benjamin came and tried to attack Sabu. Sabu tried to toss him over but Shelton landed on the turnbuckle. Sabin came and hit the Cradle Shock on Sabu. Shelton jumped off and hit a clothesline from the top turnbuckle on Sabin. Shelton tried to run and throw Sabin out but Sabin landed on the ringside. Sabin hit a Suplex to Shelton to the outside which eliminated Shelton. Sabu ran and hit a Baseball Slide to Sabin and eliminated him.

Shane McMahon was in an interview. He said he forgot to mention something. There will be a new superstar debuting after The Resolution and he will not name him.


HBK with AJ Styles vs. Rhino with Goldberg

HBK and Rhino were brawling in the beginning of the match. Rhino started winning the match after Goldberg tripped HBK. Rhino threw HBK into the turnbuckle. Rhino went for a Gore but HBK moved out of the way. HBK started giving Rhino back chops. Rhino countered and then he started giving HBK chops. HBK was lying on the floor and Rhino was taunting. Rhino did a clothesline to HBK while HBK was leaning on the turnbuckle. HBK bounced off and hit Rhino with a clothesline. Shawn got up and leaned against the turnbuckle. He started stomping his feet getting ready to do Sweet Chin. Goldberg started distracting him. Shawn Michaels was yelling at Goldberg. AJ Styles came over and stopped Goldberg. Rhino got up and hit the Gore to HBK. AJ turned around and saw. Goldberg ran and Speared AJ Styles at the outside. Rhino pinned HBK.

Winner= Rhino

Goldberg threw AJ in the ring and grabbed the mic. He said next week, it is going to be be AJ Styles vs. him. Goldberg gave a Jackhammer to AJ and HBK. Goldberg and Rhino left


Final Match of the tournament
Chris Jericho vs. Abyss

Chris Jericho and Abyss were brawling most of the match. Jericho hit some back chops on Abyss. Abyss grabbed Jericho and threw him against the turnbuckle. He gave Y2J punches and then threw Y2J over the rope. Abyss went to the outside and threw Jericho into the steps. Y2J got up and threw Abyss at the barricade. Jericho went up on ringside and did a moonsault to Abyss. Both men were down. Y2J got up first and threw Abyss in the ring. Abyss got up and hit Y2J with a chokeslam. Abyss pinned but only got a 2 count. Abyss threw Y2J against the rope and tried to hit the Black Hole Slam. Jericho reversed it into a DDT. Y2J hit the Lionsault on Abyss but only got a 2 count. Abyss got up and hit Shock Treatment. Abyss tried to go for the Black Hole Slam again but Jericho slid under Abyss and locked in the Walls of Jericho. Abyss tapped.

Winner= Chris Jericho

Randy Orton came to the ring and hit Jericho with an RKO. Kurt Angle came to the ring and hit Orton with an Angle Slam. Angle then gave Jericho an Ankle Lock. Orton got back up and started brawling with Kurt Angle. Shane McMahon came out and announced the match for next week. It is going to be Randy Orton vs. Kurt Angle with a Special Ref which is Chris Jericho. Orton and Angle got mad and attacked Jericho while the show ended.
