Tazz and Cole welcome everyone to the show with the crowd cheering as all the pyro goes off. '' Tazz, what a night tonight here on ShowDown! 5 Championships are on the line, including the World Heavyweight, EWA, Intercontinental, U.S. & World Tag Team Championships.''
'' Cole, this is a huge night for EWA, and don't forget that we'll see alot more action here tonight, besides Championship matches.''

1. Single = Ric Flair def. Matt Hardy

Result = Flair and Hardy came in to this one ready. It started with a side headlock executed by Ric Flair which was followed by a snapmare. Matt Hardy, however, wouldn't give up, and got out of the snapmare. Hardy then clotheslined Flair numerous times, but only got a 2 count with the pin. Then, Ken Kennedy came down and distracted Matt Hardy. With Flair back up, Flair realised Hardy was distracted and rolled Hardy up o win the match with a handful of tights.

Theodore Long comes out. '' I have got the Royal Rumble participants and number of entry in my hand right now. Here are the Royal Rumble participants in order of entry:

2. World Tag Team Championship Match = MNM def. LOD

Result = Mercury and Heidenreich traded blows in the early going. Heidenreich stepped up the gear and hit a clothesline. He then wenton the top turnbuckle for a flying clothesline, but Melina distracted him which allowed Nitro to quickly superplex the big man. Animal tried to come in, but the Ref wouldn't allow the big guy in which allowed from MNM on Heidenreich. Animal eventually was tagged in, but the Ref was distracted soon after and Mercury hit a chair off the head of Animal for the win.

Matt Hardy is backstage with Coach for an interview. '' Matt Hardy, you have just lost a match by what many believe was outside interference. What are your thoughts and what do you have to say to Ken Kennedy?''
'' Coach, I only have one thought at the moment. You know, Ken Kennedy thinks he is the greatest wrestler alive and tries to copy off New York City by naming himself twice. Well, Kennedy, I want a 1-on-1 match at the Royal Rumble, and believe me, it ain't gonna be pretty.''
Then, Kennedy comes and attacks Hardy, hitting him with punches and eventually ramming Hardy into the wall. '' Hardy, you're on for a match at Royal Rumble, and you're gonna get destroyed!''

Camera's go over to Tazz and Cole. '' Well Ladies and gentleman, the first Royal Rumble match has been anounced. 1-on-1, Matt Hardy will battle the impressive Ken Kennedy.''
'' Cole, this will be personal!''

3. Single = Juventud v Eugene went to a no contest

Result = Both Eugene and Juventud looked prepared for this one. Eugene started off with a clothesline, but Juventud got straight back up. Juventud tried to go for a suplex later on, but it was reversed by Eugene. Eugene went for a scoop slam, but Juventud reversed it into a flying headscissors. Then, it looked as Juventud was going for the juvi driver, but Carlito appeared from nowhere and hit numerous chair shots off the skull of juventud while Eugene got layed into by Orlando Jordan.

Camera's go backstage as Shawn Michaels is talking to Edge. '' You know what Shawn, you're full of crap. Oh look, I'm the showstopper, but how many times have you beat me? You come to me and ask for a peace offering? Well that ain't gonna happen Shawn!''
Edge starts hammering HBK and follows it up by getting a TV camera and laying the heart break kid out with it.

Theodore Long meets Edge walking down the corridoor. '' You know what Edge. You just layed out Shawn Michaels for absolutely no reason. So, at the Royal Rumble player, i will as a result of your actions, give Shawn Michaels a chance to gain revenge. At the Royal Rumble, you will face Shawn Michaels in a LAST MAN STANDING MATCH!''

Edge looks shocked as Long walks away. '' What the hell! How did this happen! ARRGGHHHH!''

Crowd cheer as Edge goes ballistic

4. U.S. Championship 6-Man Elimination Match = Chris Benoit def. Hardcore Holly, Christian, Orlando Jordan, Booker T and William Regal

Result = Benoit started out hammering Hardcore Holly with knife edge chops which got Holly groggy. Regal tried to execute a scoop slam on Christian, but Booker T clotheslined Regal from Behind. Then, Orlando Jordan assaulted Christian. He eventually hit a complete shot and eliminated Christian with the pin. Then, Holly had gained the upperhand on Benoit, and looked to have finished the Crippler off with an alabama slam, but Benoit got out at 2 and a half. Then, Holly focused on Booker T, hitting a scoop slam followed by an elbow drop. Orlando Jordan went to clothesline Benoit off the ropes, but Benoit hit a clothesline of his own and eliminated Jordan with the flying headbutt off the top rope. Then, Booker T hit the bookend on Regal which finished him off. Then, Holly and Booker T teamed up on Benoit, but Benoit came back and made Booker tap out to the sharpshooter. As Regal gained control, he went for a suplex, but Benoit escaped and hit the 3 german suplex's which was followed by the crossface for Benoit to win the Championship.

'' So ladies and gentleman, January 7th, it's gonna be a great night for EWA. The Royal Rumble will be a great PPV, and already 2 matches are scheduled for the event. Matt Hardy will battle Ken Kennedy in something that could get ugly. But, personal issues continue to grow between Edge and Shawn Michaels. The two will have a Last Man Standing Match at the Royal Rumble. And of course, the big one, The Royal Rumble. The winner gets a title shot at Wrestlemania.''
'' Cole, this PPV will be awesome!''

5. No Holds Barred = JBL def. Kurt Angle

Result = JBL started out the better, cornering Angle and hammering him with big right hands. Then, JBL tried to finish Angle off with a fallaway slam, but Angle pressed and JBL fell as Angle did a cross body like move, but could only get a 2 count. Then, Angle hit a suplex, and went outside for a chair. Angle got a chair, and went to hit JBL's skull with it, but JBL big booted the chair into Angle's face. JBL then did a headlock with Angle's head spurting out blood. Angle got out of the headlock, hitting a well executed back suplex. However, Angle only got a 2 count. Then, Orlando Jordan came down to attack Angle, but Angle hit the angle slam. However, Angle turned around and got the clothesline from hell for JBL to win the match.

6. Single = Undertaker def. Viscera

Result = Undertaker and Viscera started out with a test of strength, with Viscera coming out on top. Then, Viscera cornered Undertaker and did a very powerful clothesline. Viscera followed that up by hitting a scoop slam, and started punching Undertaker in the head. Undertaker sat straight back up, though. Undertaker blocked a punch, and somehow hit an unexpected chokeslam on the big guy. Viscera kicked out at two, but Undertaker lifted Viscera up for a tombstone. Viscera reversed it though into a tombstone of his own. Undertaker got out at 2 and a half, and hit another chokeslam later on and got the 3 count for the win.

Kristal is backstage with Chris Benoit. '' Congratulations Chris Benoit on your victory, how are you feeling?''
'' I'm feeling great, and there's alot of talk right now of no.1 contenders and all that...''
Booker T comes over and strikes Benoit. '' BENOIT, I'M COMING FOR THAT TITLE AT ROYAL RUMBLE! I'LL KILL YOU!"
Theodore Long and security break the brawl up. '' Is that so Booker? Well, at the Royal Rumble, Chris Benoit and you will face each other for the United States Championship!''
Booker T looks happy as he walks away, with Benoit bleeding on the floor.''

'' Well, Tazz. U.S. Championship on the line at Royal Rumble, with Booker T battling the Champion, Chris Benoit!''
'' Holy smokes Cole! This is personal!''


7. Intercontinental Championship Match = Chris Masters def. Shelton Benjamin

Result = Benjamin started well, controlling Masters with a painful side headlock. Then, Benjamin hit a suplex, but only got a 2 count from the pin. Then, Benjamin went for a backbreaker, but Masters reversed it into a ddt. Then, Masters controlled the match and went for the masterlock, but Benjamin made it to the ropes. Then, Carlito came down and knocked the Referee out. Benjamin was the gaining the upperhand on Masters inside the ring. But, Benjamin turned around and got hit by a chair from Carlito. Then, Masters locked in the masterlock as the Ref got up and Benjamin gave up.

After the match, Carlito and Masters attacked Benjamin. However, Benjamin was saved when Lashley came down. Carlito and Masters fled the ring as GM Theodore Long came down. '' Well, there's nothing much I can say, apart from Shelton Benjamin has just been screwed out of the Championship. So, next week on ShowDown!, the title will be on the line, with Shelton Benjamin having Bobby Lashley in his corner, and Carlito being in the corner of Chris Masters.''

8. World Heavyweight Championship Match = Randy Orton def. Kane

Result = Kane was hammering Orton with big right hands early on. Kane just destroyed Randy from then on, whipping him into all 4 turnbuckles, following each of them up with a different move, lastly being a sidewalk slam and got the 2 count from the cover. Then, Kane hit a flying clothesline off the top rope. Orton recovered through time though, and hit a ddt. But Kane got up, and recieved a modified backbreaker from Orton. Then, Kane signalled for a chokeslam following a ddt. Orton hooked in a small package unexpectedly, but only got a 2 count. Then, Kane got up and recieved an RKO which was enough for Orton to become the World Heavyweight Championship.

'' Ladies and Gentleman, it's time for the main event. It's the Triple Threat EWA Championship Match.''
'' Cole, this is what we've been waiting for.''

A video is shown highlighting the history between Shawn Michaels and HHH. It shows the D-X days and then it shows the World Heavyweight Championship. It shows a picture of HBK & Triple H, then the picture gets split. Then, in the middle, the title is shown, and Hell In A Cell, Ladder, Street Fight, Steel Cage is shown fading away. Then, it shows John Cena, and he says '' You want some, come get some!!!''

9. Triple Threat No Countout No DQ EWA Championship Match = John Cena def. HHH & Shawn Michaels

Result = Cena and HHH traded right hands. Cena gained the upperhand following a trash can over the head of 'The Game'. But, Cena turned around and got backdropped by Shawn Michaels. Then, HBK fought with HHH, but HHH hit Michaels with a chair. Cena recovered then, and hit a chair of the skull of HBK. Then, HHH recieved an F-U and Cena was the EWA Champion.

The show opens with pyro going off as MNM'S music plays.

1. Single = Rosey def. Joey Mercury(W/Johnny Nitro) by DQ

Result = Rosey started out the better, hammering Mercury with painful punches. Then, Mercury was trapped in the corner and recieved a clothesline from Rosey. However, Mercury recovered from the stiff beating later on, and hit a powerful dtt. Mercury only got a 2 count from the pin though. Then, Mercury stomped on Rosey while he was down. However, Rosey powered back, and after whipping Mercury off the ropes, Rosey hit a well executed hip toss. Then, as Rosey was about to go for the big splash, Nitro came in and started attacking Rosey. The ref signalled for a DQ.

After the match, Rosey was being attacked by MNM, recieving a double ddt and a double clothesline. Then, MNM tried to go for a snapshot, but they couldn't lift Rosey. Then, Rosey banged MNM's heads together as they fled the ring with Rosey's arm being raised.

2. Tag Team = Orlando Jordan & Tyson Tomko def. LOD

Result = Heidenreich started out with Orlando. Heidenreich controlled and hit numerous clotheslines on Orlando. Then, he hit a gutbuster followed by a painful sidewalk slam, which would have finished Orlando if Tomko hadn't broke up the pin. However, as Tomko was getting out of the ring, he got a clothesline in the face by Animal. Then, Animal was tagged in, and with the Referee's back turned, Orlando low blowed Animal. Then, 'The Problem Solver' came in and hit a scoop slam on Animal. Finally, a small package at the end won it for Orlando & Tomko.

MNM are backstage with Coach. '' MNM, you're plan backfired tonight as Rosey got away unscathed, and you will now face Rosey next week in a Handicap match here on Livewire. ''
'' Well, we're angry now, but next week, when we face that ugly pie, we'll KILL HIM!''

3. Single = Kid Kash def. Funaki

Result = Funaki started the better, doing a suplex on Kash and hitting a high cross body off the top rope. However, the momentum would change as Kash did a painful clothesline followed by a scoop slam. Kid Kash only got a 2 count with the cover though. Then, Funaki went on the offensive, hitting a dtt and then a hurracanara. Then, he went for his finisher, but Kash escaped and hit the brainbuster for the win.

LOD are backstage. '' THEM THIEVES! THEY CHEATED! WE'RE COMING FOR YOU NEXT WEEK TOMKO & ORLANDO! ARRRRRGGGHHHH!''

4. Cruiserweight Championship = Juventud(W/ Super Crazy) def. Nunzio

Result = Nunzio started well by hitting Juventud with hard right hands and then cornering him. Nunzio controlled and hit 2 suplex's and went for a pin. However, he could only get a 2 count and Juventud then started gaining momentum. Juventud hit a scoop slam, and unexpectedly went for a juvi driver, but Nunzio escaped and hit a painful ddt out of nothing more but desperation. As Nunzio was going for the cover, Juventud played possum and did a small package to win it.

Juventud is standing in the ring with Super Crazy & Psicosis. '' Now, I am very happy to be Cruiserweight Champion. But, I have got an even more stronger point to address. And that is, The Mexicools are taking over this place!'' Crowd cheer as Juventud holds up the belt.
