Tuesday Night Detonation The show begins with Triple H and JBL meeting up backstage. Laughing at an insulting each other, it then turned into Triple H nailing a right punch and a spinebuster on JBL. He then grabbed a Sledgehammer and nailed JBL several times. He locked JBL in the Death Lock and almost snapped his leg completely. Triple H left the injured JBL on the floor. Match 1: Val Venis vs. William Regal, Television Number One ContendershipThis was unexpectedly a great opening match, with the match starting with Val Venis irish whipping William to the ropes and throwing him with a hip toss. The match continued with Venis in control. But Regal then somehow knocked Venis down out of the ring. The ref was paying attention to the fallen Venis when Regal placed his knucks on. Venis stood up and Regal went for a swing. Venis ducked and went for a rear-naked choke but William reversed it into a neckbreaker. He pinned but Venis kicked out. Venis stood up as did Regal. Regal punched Venis in the gut with the brass knucks and smashes Venis in the head. Regal pinned. 1..2...Venis got his shoulder up. Venis hopped to his feet and began to fight back, eventually landing a suplex and a Money Shot, getting the win. Winner: New Number One Contender to the Television Championship: Val Venis ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Orlando was seen backstage, looking for JBL. A stagehand informed him of the attack on JBL. Orlando smirked and said he'd go on with the match in a handicap competition. Match 2: Edge and Christian Cage vs. MNMThis match was certainly the clash of the ages. Edge and Joey Mercury started, Edge getting the upper hand with an early DDT and Spear. He pinned Joey Mercury, but only got a 2 count. Joey got the tag and Edge was instantly taken out by the double teaming on Edge. Christian came in and tackled Joey out of the ring where the two began to brawl outside of the ring. Johnny Nitro and Edge began to exchange blows, where Johnny whipped Edge into the turnbuckle and dropkicked him. Joey jumped in the ring and the team of Johnny and Joey performed a double suplex. Johnny pinned. 1..2..Kick out by Edge. Christian and Joey got in their corners. Edge jumped to his corner and tagged the hand of Christian. The match continued with Johnny and Joey exchanging tags regularly and double-teaming Christian. The match ended with Johnny school-boy pinning Christian after a superkick. Joey and Johnny celebrated in the ring, only to be attacked by the rest of Evolution afterwards. Orton then eyed Melina, who screamed and escaped via ramp. Winners: MNM ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edge was shown backstage, ready to leave. Christian approached Edge and informed him of his North American title defense. Edge handed the title to Christian and said, "YOU TAKE IT!" He angrily sped off in his limo. Match 3: Trish Stratus (c) w/ Ashley Massaro vs. Kristal Marshall for the Women's ChampionshipAn extremely easy match for Trish. The match went on with Trish landing a Stratusphere followed by a Stratusfaction, getting the pin. Winner: Still Women's Champion, Trish Stratus ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trish celebrated in the ring. She turned around to taunt to the other side but was suddenly chick kicked by Kristal Marshall. Ashley got into the ring, looked at Kristal. Then they began to double team Trish! Trish fell out of the ring as Kristal and Ashley celebrated in the ring. Match 4: Chris Jericho vs. Edge (c) for the North American ChampionshipChris Jericho entered the ring, awaiting Edge to come down to the ring. But all of a sudden "Close Your Eyes" by Waterproof Blonde played and Christian Cage came down with the title over his shoulder. The match began with Christian defending Edge's title. Christian and Chris battled it out instantly. Chris Jericho threw Christian to the ring ropes and performed a drop to hold. Christian got up as fast as possible and nailed Chris Jericho with a clothesline. He pinned 1..2.. Kickout by Jericho. Christian got to his feet and began to exchange blows with Chris Jericho. The match continued with plenty of dangerous moves, like a high-flying press to the outside courtesy of Christian. Then in the middle of the ring, Chris Jericho locked Christian into the Walls of Jericho, almost making Christian tap. But Christian bent backward and liften himself with Jericho's shoulders. He turned Jericho around and Christian nailed the Unprettier and pinned. 1...2..3! Christian stood up and held the title over his head, exiting backstage. Winner: New North American Champion: Christian Cage ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Christian was seen backstage with the title, smiling at the gold. Edge then approached Christian, who instantly questioned why he was here. Edge said, "It doesn't matter, give me my title." Christian refused, "It's MY title now." Edge smacked Christian and left, yelling, "SCREW YOU EVOLUTION!" Main Event: Orlando Jordan vs. Triple H and Randy OrtonThe match began with Jordan and Orton locking up, Orton throwing Jordan to the canvas and performing a running elbow drop. Orton picked Jordan up and tagged in Triple H, both of them performing a Double DDT. The match continued with Triple H and Randy Orton virtually murdering Orlando. When Triple H nailed the Pedigree, Randy ran into the ring. Triple H told him to get back to his corner and earned himself a deadly RKO!!! Randy put Orlando's arm over Triple H's body, giving Jordan the win. Winner: Orlando Jordan The show ended with Randy and Orlando standing over Triple H with The Cabinet's theme song playing. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Confirmed Matches for Saturday Night Breakout: Chris Benoit vs. Ric Flair for the Coastal Championship Rey Mysterio and The Hardy Boyz vs. The Ministry (Lance Cade, Raven, and Daniels) Mickie James vs. Candice

Satuday Night Breakout The show began with Joey Styles taking his place in the ring, microphone in hand. He announced that a tournament will begin to tonight, that tournament for the Number one contendership for the Universal Championship. The tournament will consist of 12 superstars, hand chosen by Joey Styles. Those superstars were Chris Benoit, Christopher Daniels, Raven, Kurt Angle, Lance Cade, Abyss, Mankind, Chris Masters, Danny Basham, Rhino, Rey Mystero, and Jeff Hardy. The tournament would start directly after the opening match, Mickie James vs. Candice Michelle. Match 1: Mickie James vs. Candice MichelleThe women's champion dominated in the beginning of the match, taking out Candice Michelle with a pummeling snapmare. Mickie threw Candice against the turnbuckle and chopped at her, but the third chop was reversed with a devastating right hook courtesy of Candice. Mickie grabbed her face and earned herself a huge neckbreaker. Candice put Mickie in a headlock, but it was broken up. The match consisted of many reverses, like suplexes, powerbombs, and the occasional Stratusphere by Mickie. Eventually Candice threw Mickie to the ring ropes. Mickie rebounded back and Candice tried to do a spinebuster but Mickie reversed it into a giant Laree DDT, pinning Candice for the win. Winner: Mickie James ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lance Cade, Raven, Daniels, and Abyss sat in the Ministry locker room, staring at each other in shock, hearing their names on the tournament participants. Joey Styles appeared on the television and said the first tournament match would be Christopher Daniels vs. Lance Cade. The two stared at each other, again in shock. They both stood up, shook hands and made their ways to the ring. Match 2: Universal Contendership Tournament Match: Lance Cade vs. Christopher DanielsThese two shook hands once more before the match and instantly locked up, Lance Cade nailing a giant DDT. Daniels hopped to his feet and began to smash Cade repeatedly with his elbows. Lance turned around and earned a reverse DDT, pinning Cade. 1...2...kickout. Daniels picked Lance up and whipped him into the turnbuckle, clotheslining him against it. He began to stomp on Cade's fallen body and sighed. Lance Cade got to his feet and performed a European Uppercut, followed by a spinal tap. He threw Daniels to the turnbuckle and set him up for the turnbuckle bulldog. When he went for it though, Daniels dodged it and pinned. 1..2.. kickout. He sighed and lifted Cade into a suplex, but Cade slid down Daniels's back and tried to do a backslide pin but Daniels hopped out and performed his finishing move, Angels Wings. He pinned, 1..2..3. Winner and going to Round 2 of the Universal Title Contendership Tournament: Christopher Daniels ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Despite the fact that he just annihilated his partner, Daniels celebrated anyways, when he left backstage. The next match was scheduled as Hardy Boyz and Rey Mysterio vs. Lance Cade, Daniels, and Raven then turned into the Hardy Boyz vs. The Mexicools. Match 3: The Hardy Boyz vs. The MexicoolsThe match begins with Psicosis and Jeff Hardy taking their places in the ring. Jeff started the match with a quick front dropkick and a single crab leg lock, but Psicosis escaped. He put Jeff in a Headlock, but that was slipped out of too. Jeff then performed some fast paced moves, like a snapmare, ddt, suplexes, standing moonsaults. Psicosis crawled to his corner and tagged in Super Crazy, who was instantly taken down by Jeff Hardy. Jeff threw Super Crazy to the corner and tagged in Matt, they then perform the Hardyz Leg Drop. And Matt pinned. 1..2..kick out by Super Crazy. Jeff got out of the ring and watched Matt Hardy pummel the fallen Super Crazy. Matt picked Super Crazy up and began to punch him in the stomache. Super Crazy counterattacked one of the punches and began to strike him fiercely with his left and rights. He whipped Matt to his corner and smashed him with a clothesline against the turnbuckle. He tagged in Psicosis who instantly began to punch Matt in the stomache. Matt recovered and performed an unexpected Dangerous DDT. Psicosis got to his feet and began to exchange punches with Matt in the middle of the ring. Matt Hardy kneed Psicosis in the gut and went for a Twist of Fate, but Psicosis pushed Matt off and performed a vertical suplex. Both men were hurt on the canvas. They each climbed to their partners, but Matt got the tag first. Jeff ran in and stopped Psicosis from getting the tag. Jeff picked Psicosis up and began to perform punch/kick combonations. He threw Psicosis to the rope and tried to throw Psicosis over with a hip toss, but Psicosis landed on his feet. Psicosis turned around but earned a huge and unexpected Twist of Fate. He instantly jumped on the turnbuckle and did a Swanton bomb, pinning Psicosis. 1..2..3. Winners: The Hardy Boyz ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Backstage, Todd Grisham stood with Christopher Daniels, who has his hands on his hips and sweat pouring down his face. Todd Grisham: Chris, you just won your first match in the Universal Contendership match, if you win the tournament, you will have to face your stable's leader, The Undertaker. What are your thoughts on this? Daniels looks at Todd. Christopher Daniels: What are my thoughts? I don't know what Styles is thinking putting me against Cade, but I want him to know, he's not going to break up the most dominant stable in the WEA by doing it. Todd: Don't you want to become the Universal Champion? Daniels laughs. Christopher Daniels: Just because the Undertaker is my stable mate, doesn't mean I won't take that title from him. Daniels leaves the scene. Match 4: Universal Contendership Tournament Match: Kurt Angle vs. RhinoThe match was a great fourth match, no doubt about that. Kurt started with some leaned punches to Rhino's shoulder. Kurt began to force some shots in on Rhino's abdomen and turned it into some quick German Suplexes. He pinned. 1..2..kickout by Rhino. Angle picks Rhino up and begins to do some forearm uppecuts, injuring Rhino's eyes. Rhino then starts to come back and throws in some body punches, which seems to hurt Kurt's ribs. The match goes to a commercial break... --Commercials-- The match continues with Kurt and Rhino knocked out on the outside. The "During The Break" screen appears and shows how this occured. Rhino and Kurt are battling on the top rope, exchanging blows. Kurt punches Rhino in the face and knocks him out. He turns Rhino around and picks him up into an Angle, slam trying to do it back intro the ring, but Rhino slipped out and brought Kurt with him into a backslide to the outside! The "during the break" screen closes out and the ref is on still doing his "ring out" count. He is on 6. Kurt and Rhino are dwelling. 7...they both get to their knees. 8...they battle on their knees. 9...they both slide into the ring. Kurt picks Rhino up and tried to do an Angle Slam, but Rhino reversed into a backslide pin, but Kurt hops out and hops up behind the kneed down Rhin, picking him up to an Angle Slam, finally nailing it. Angle removes his costume straps and locks in the Ankle Lock. Rhino crawls to the rope, but Kurt increases pressure and forces Rhino to tap. Winner and going to Round 2 of the Universal Title Contendership Tournament: Kurt Angle ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Angle is seen walking backstage after another commercial break. He runs into someone and looks up, seeing it is Christopher Daniels. The two stare down each other with fire in their eyes as the camera goes to the next match. Match 5: Universal Contendership Tournament Match: Raven vs. Chris MastersThe match began with Raven pummeling Masters's body with a closed fist, but Raven's punches don't effect the steel body of Masters. Raven throws Masters against the ropes but Masters performs a giant shoulder block. He flexes his muscles to the crowd, the girls swooning over him. Raven gets to his feet and begins to exchange punches with Masters, punching Masters in the side of the head with his bare knuckles. Masters waves back and forth for a moment before falling on his back. The match continues similarly, Raven trying to knock down the big man, Masters reversing Raven's moves, and taunting to the women. It eventually ends with Raven going for a punch but Masters locking in the Masterlock, knocking Raven out. Winner and going to Round 2 of the Universal Title Contendership Tournament: Chris Masters ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joey Styles entered the ring and announced that the tournament would continue next week, and the winners of this weeks tournament will not have to fight in a tournament match next week. He then introduced the main event, leaving the ring. Main Event: Coastal Championship Match: Chris Benoit vs. Ric Flair (c)This match will go down in the books as one of the cheapest won championship matches in WEA history. Benoit started with a suplex to Ric Flair, performing a couple Eddie Guerrero taunts. The crowd cheered Benoit's name and he smiled. Ric Flair stood up and began to chop Benoit into the turnbuckle, where he began to rip Chris Benoit's chest. Ric Flair then began to earn his own chops, where Benoit grabbed him and threw him into the corner, chopping him back three times. Ric Flair grabbed Benoit's shoulder and whipped him into the corner, whipping him a couple times too. The chop battle ended with Benoit chopping from against the turnbuckle to Ric Flair's abdomen. Flair grabbed his abdomen and earned a giant toe kick courtesy of Benoit. When Flair turned around, Benoit performed a giant chop block. Both men were on the ground, grabbing their bruised chests. Benoit got to his feet and began to perform some standing elbow drops. Flair stood up, only to get pushed down by Benoit shortly afterwards. Benoit picked Ric up and threw him to the turnbuckle, where the ref was. The ref got knocked out. Benoit picked Flair up and earned himself a giant low blow. Benoit fell to his back, holding his groinal area. Ric Flair locked in the Figure-Four Leg Lock, and applied pressure as soon as the ref stood up. Benoit was forced to tap out, and Flair stood up, holding his title in the air. Winner and Still Coastal Champion: Ric Flair ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The show ended with Masters, Daniels, and Angle all meeting up backstage, smirking at one another with cockiness. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Confirmed Matches for Tuesday Night Detonation Edge vs. Christian Cage Ashley w/ Kristal Marshall vs. Trish Stratus Val Venis vs. Orlando Jordan w/ Randy Orton and JBL Triple H vs. Randy Orton

Tuesday Night Detonation The scene opens up in the office belnging to Paul Heyman, the Detonation General manager. He is filing papers and looks up at the cameras with a blank expression. Paul Heyman: A Pedigree. An Unexpected Interference. An RKO. These where three phrases used to describe the travesty that took place last week during the handicap match between Randy Orton and Triple H versus Orlando Jordan. Evolution was nearly victorious last week, but Randy Orton turned on his old mentor with a thunderous RKO, costing Triple H and himself the match. These actions will not go unnoticed. I have come to a decision to punish Mr. Orton. I have devised a plan to make Randy pay for his actions against Triple H last week. Tonight in that very ring, you will see Triple H and Randy Orton compete in a ... first blood lumberjack match! Now, I won't be heartless. I will allow both men to choose FIVE superstars to be in their corner during this match. The crowd pops as the intro of WEA's Tuesday Night Detontation plays. The crowd cheers as the intro fades away and the opening match readies to begin. Match 1: William Regal vs. Chavo GuerreroChavo makes his WEA debut against the man that lost to Val Venis in a Television Contendership match, William Regal. The match is a fairly decent opening matchup to hype up the crowd. The match begins with Regal getting the upper hand by chucking Chavo to the ground. He poorly imitates some Eddie taunts, causing the fans to boo him, these boos turn into "Chavo! Chavo! Chavo!" chants. Chavo pumps up and looks over at Regal, performing a REAL Eddie taunt, slapping his chest a couple times and clotheslining Regal, getting on his knees and pointing up to the sky. Regal gets up and kicks Chavo in the gut, throwing his head to the canvas with a skull-shattering DDT. Chavo gets to his feet and locks up with Regal. Regal attempts to put Chavo into a suplex, but Chavo reverses into a suplex...another suplex...ANOTHER SUPLEX! After performing the Three Amigos, the crowd begins to stamp their feet and chant, "GO FROGGY!" Chavo slaps his chest again and shakes his shoulders. He hops onto the turnuckle, points to the sky, and jumps off in a Frog Splash, landing perfectly on Regal. The ref gets on his knees. 1..2..3! Winner via Pinfall: Chavo Guerrero ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Orlando and Orton are seen backstage, speaking of the lumberjack match tonight. Orlando: So, who are you going to choose to be in your corner? Orton smirks. Orton: Well, you of course. And I can't choose JBL, because of his leg injury. I think I'll choose Chris Jericho, Kane, The Big Show, and Mark Henry! Orlando and Orton laugh as the camera fades to a commercial. Television Championship Match: Val Venis vs. Orlando Jordan (c) w/Randy OrtonAfter the commercial break, the next match is ready to take place. JBL is unable to make it, due to knee surgery from the Triple H Death Lock, but Orlando has some good protection with his Cabinet-mate, Randy Orton by his side. The match begins with Venis locking up with Jordan, throwing him to the turnbuckle and dashing at him with a running elbow, Jordan stumbles a bit and is throw to the canvas with a mat slam. Jordan holds the back of his head, and closes his eyes, removing one of his defenses. Venis begins to stomp the abdomen of the fallen Jordan. Orlando rolls out of the ring and walks to Randy, pointing at Venis and talking to him. Randy nods a bit as Orlando grabs the title belt and slides into the ring. The ref tries to take it away from him, but Orlando refuses. He goes for a swing with the belt to Venis, but it is reversed and Venis performs a surprising sleeper hold. Randy grabs Orlando's feet and pulls him out of the ring. Venis grabs the title and holds it in the air, staring down at Orlando, who stares back with anger in his eyes. Orlando slides into the ring and tackles Venis, punching him several times. Venis picks him up, only to throw him back down in a well executed powerbomb. Orlando falls, hurt, near the title. Venis climbs the turnbuckle and taunts for the "Money Shot". He jumps off, but the possum-playing Orlando grabs the title and smashes it across the incoming-Venis's face, causing the ref to ring the bell and award Venis with the win...but not the title. Winner via Disqualification: Val Venis ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The scene opens up backstage with Triple H in his locker room, he is putting on his wristbands and looking at the camera. Triple H: You know, people have been asking me for the past thirty minutes, who are you going to choose in your lumberjack match, Hunter? Well, I've taken it into consideration, and I've come to a decision. But I don't think you people could take the surprise of this choice. But I will tell you one name, but it's quite practical. One of the men that will be at my side will be "The Animal" Batista. The rest of the men, I'm afraid, you will have to just watch and find out. The crowd gasps at the choice of arch-rival, Shawn Michaels. The scene fades to a commercial break. Match 3: Trish Stratus vs. Ashley Massaro w/ Kristal MarshallAfter yet another fade in after a commercial break, we see the superstars entering the ring, Ashley and Kristal arriving first, smiling proudly at what they accomplished last week against Trish, who is now making her way to the ring too. The match begins with Ashley kneeing Trish in the side several times, eventually perfoming one powerful enough to knock the Women's Champion down. Ashley taunts to the crowd, getting a chaotic amount of boos. Ashley rolls her eyes at the crowd and looks back towards Trish, who instantly performs a surprising hurracarana to the unsuspecting Ashley. Trish then taunts to the crowd, who instantly cheers in her approval. Kristal Marshall turns around and shakes her head at the fans and discourages them of this cheering. Trish turns around and begins to stomp on the fallen Ashley, hurting Ashley's forearm terribly. Ashley gets to her feet and begins to fight back, showing some left and rights with her respective elbows. Trish whips her into the turnbuckle and seats her on the top of it. Trish runs at Ashley, hops on her hands into a handstand, and wraps her legs around Ashley's neck. She drives Ashley's head down into the canvas into a perfectly executed Stratusphere. The crowd gets pumped up for the Stratusfaction, and Trish feels the anticipation. Trish smiles and picks Ashley up, throwing her to the turnbuckle once more. She puts Ashley's head onto her shoulder and tries to jump off with a powerful Stratusfaction, but Ashley grabs Trish's body and brings her down into a Pumphandle Drop, quickly pinning. 1..2.. KICKOUT by Trish. Ashley sighs and picks Trish up, who instantly begins to fight back with a couple left hooks, which are instantly followed by a few more rights. Ashley falls into the turnbuckle and is soon on the mat after a thunderous Stratusfaction. Trish pins. 1..2..KICKOUT by Ashley. Trish can't believe it and picks Ashley up, only to be thrown out of the ring. Kristal sees her opportunity and slowly ducks down, grabbing a trash can lid from under the apron. Ducking down below the ref's sight, Kristal crawls over to the fallen Trish and begins to hit her with it with all her might. Kristal rolls Trish into the ring and allows Ashley to pin. 1...2...KICKOUT AGAIN by Trish. Ashley grabs her hair and gasps, in absolute shock. Ashley picks Trish up, only to be thrown against the turnbuckle into another Stratusfaction. Trish pins Ashley. 1...2...KICKOUT! Trish picks Ashley up and puts her into another Stratusfaction, only this time after the Stratusfaction is performed, Kristal grabs Trish's foot, distracting her. Ashley stands up and gets behind the distracted Trish, rolling her into a schoolboy pin. 1..2..3! Winner via Pinfall: Ashley Massaro ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match, Paul Heyman came out an announced that Ashley and Kristal will face off next week to decide who will face Trish at New Year's Brawl. Kristal and Ashley stared at each other expectantly. Match 4: Christian Cage vs. EdgeAfter an unsuccessful battle last week against MNM, Edge was then scheduled to defend his North American Championship against Chris Jericho in the pre-main event. Edge refused and DELIBERATLY handed the title over to his tag team partner, Christian, who was victorious that night against Jericho. After the match was over, Edge demanded his title back. Christian refused and Edge ended up leaving Evolution, and the arena. Now, tonight Paul Heyman scheduled a match between Christian and Edge. Christian makes his way to the ring, awaiting Edge. After a minute of silence, Paul Heyman's music hits and Heyman emerges with a microphone. Paul Heyman: It appears Edge did not arrive at the arena tonight. Well, I have come up with a solution. This match will take place next week. If Edge wins, he will go for the North American Championship at New Years Brawl. If Edge refuses to show up, he will become a word made famous by Vince McMahon, then followed by Donald Trump ... FIRED! Paul Heyman leaves, the camera fading to commercial. Match Did Not Take Place: No Contest ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The camera goes to a commercial break with a shot of Triple H and Batista talking to four hooded men in the parking lot. Main Event - First Blood Lumberjack Match: Randy Orton [Orlando Jordan, Chris Jericho, Kane, The Big Show, and Mark Henry] vs. Triple H [Batista, TBA, TBA, TBA, TBA] The camera returns from commercial with Randy Orton making his way down the rampway with Jordan, Jericho, Kane, Big Show, and Mark Henry all immediatly following. The five extra men surround the ring, awaiting Triple H and his men. Evolution's theme plays and from behind the curtains comes Triple H and Batista. The two men make their way down the ramp, both of them with smiles on their faces. Triple H adjusts his title and the two stop at the bottom of the ramp. They both turn around and signal to come out. With Evolution's theme still playing, WEA Breakout's Evolution hops from behind the curtains, causing the crowd to go insane. Led by Ric Flair, the team of Matt Hardy, Rob Conway, and Kevin Nash make their way down the ramp, taking their places next to Batista and Triple H. Randy Orton shows a look of fear on his face and stumbles backwards. Triple H gets in the ring and the starting bell rings. The match starts out like any other Triple H/Randy Orton match, a lock up, a couple punches, yadda yadda yadda. But later on in the match, it becomes more exciting when Randy is thrown out of the ring...right between the Breakout World Tag Team Champions, Rob Conway and Matt Hardy. The two look at each other, then at Randy and begin to pummel Orton's skull. Nash, Batista, and Flair hold off Randy's boys. The three eventually break over the powerhouse alliance, causing Conway and Hardy to be thrown agains the turnbuckles. The Big Show checks if Randy is bleeding. He isn't. Big Show looks up at Triple H, who is on the other side of the ring. Big Show rolls Randy into the ring. Triple H grabs Randy and picks him up, throwing him back out. Randy is caught in midair by the Big Show, who sets Randy down and stands on the apron, staring down Triple H. Randy sees his opportunity and runs to the other side of the ring, dodging all the Evolution members, zipping through them like a bullet. He hops up from behind the distracted Triple H and performs a giant low blow. He picks Triple H up and begins to pummel at his head repeatedly, trying to soften it up. Triple H fights back, trying to get Orton off of him. Randy stands up and hops off the ropes, performing a huge running elbow drop. Triple H gets to his feet and nails Randy square between the eyes. Randy almost falls to the ground, but is instantly jerked into an extremely powerful Pedigree. The ref checks for blood... there is none. Triple H picks Randy up for another Pedigree, but Randy reverses it and flips Triple H over his back. Triple H lands on his feet and runs to the ropes, rebounding off and trying to nail a clothesline but instead it is countered into a punishing RKO! The ref checks for blood, and sees it! Winner via first blood: Randy Orton ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Evolution quickly gathers in the ring, destroying Randy Orton. No one goes to Orton's aid except for Jordan, who is instantly annihilated. Paul Heyman once again makes an appearance, interrupting the beatdown. Paul Heyman: Excuse me if I'm interrupting something. But I have some important news. You see, I made this match in curiosity of Randy Orton's ability. And it seems that he has passed my little test. Triple H, Randy Orton will go for your World Championship at New Years Brawl! After Paul Heyman left, "Whatever" by Our Lady Peace burst over the PA system and Chris Benoit from WEA's Breakout ran down the ramp, instantly taking out all the members of Evolution. It ended with Benoit locking Flair into the Crossface and making him tap out. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday Night Breakout Results Final Three Tournament Matches Announced Chris Daniels and Lance Cade vs. Kurt Angle and Chris Masters Chris Benoit vs. Kevin Nash w/Ric Flair

Saturday Night Breakout The scene opens up, fireworks exploding in many different areas with the crowd going wild for the upcoming WEA show, with many announced matches. Chris Benoit was scheduled to face Kevin Nash in the main event after Tuesday Night Detonation's attack on Evolution, Christopher Daniels and Lance Cade were scheduled to face Masters and Angle, and the final three tournament matches would be announced. Speaking of that, Joey Styles made his way down to the ring with a microphone in hand. He paced the ring as soon as he got in it with patience. Joey Styles: Now, I know tonight you were all expecting to see Chris Benoit take on Kevin Nash in the main event tonight... The crowd let out a deafening cheer. Joey Styles: Well, I'm afraid that it's not going to happen due to Chris Benoit's spot in the tournament. The crowd boos. Joey Styles: Instead, the main event will be Jeff Hardy vs. Chris Benoit in a tournament match! The crowd cheers again. Joey Styles: The other two matches for the tournament will be Danny Basham vs. Rey Mysterio, and Abyss vs. Mankind! The crowd cheers again as the first match gets ready to begin. Match 1: Torrie Wilson vs. Sharmell w/ Booker TThis match certainly saw Torrie stay on top, due to her in-ring experience and Sharmell's...well, not so much. Torrie quickly ended with match with a devastating DDT. Winner via pin: Torrie Wilson (1:35) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the commercial break, Christopher Daniels and Lance Cade were seen backstage, getting ready for their tag team match and talking to each other. Christopher Daniels: Lance, I'm sorry about last week. But a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do. And I had to win last week, simple as that. Lance sighed. Lance Cade: I know that, man. But did you really need to brag about it to everyone in the Ministry? Chris raised an eyebrow. Christopher Daniels: I never - Lance Cade: Whatever, it's not important right now Chris, let's go. Our match is ready to begin. Match 2: The Ministry [Christopher Daniels and Lance Cade] vs. Kurt Angle and Chris MastersThis match saw Kurt Angle absolutely annihilating Christopher Daniels who had no help from his partner. He finally got Angle down, but Angle quickly got to his feet and performed the Ankle Lock to an alread fallen Daniels, who tried to crawl over to his partner, Lance Cade, who stared down at him with narrowed eyes. After Daniels got close enough to Cade, he went for the tag, but before Daniels' hand could tag Cade's, Cade hopped off the apron and faked hitting his head on the steel steps. He looked over at Christopher Daniels and sshrugged with a cocky smirk on. Daniels raised an eyebrow with an ajar mouth, but he still refused to tap out. Lance Cade got back on the apron after Daniels kicked Kurt to the ground. Daniels turned around and smashed his open palm against Lance's chest, chopping him AND tagging him in. Daniels turned around and said to Angle, "He's all yours!" Angle smirked and tagged in Masters, who eventually locked the Masterlock in on Cade and knocked him out, winning the match. Winners via Submission: Kurt Angle and Chris Masters (8:53) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- After commercial break, Lance Cade was seen running around backstage, looking for Daniels. He was informed by one of his stable mates, Raven, that Daniels had left the building. Lance said he was going to go inform "The Boss." and he left the scene, leaving Raven with a questioning look. Match 3: Universal Contendership Tournament Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Danny BashamThe match was suprisingly fast paced on Danny Basham's part, with plenty of high-flying moves and a single Asai Moonsault to Rey Mysterio from the inside of the ring to the outside. Later in the match though, Rey Mysterio had kicked Danny in the gut and performed a Running Head Scissors into the ring ropes. He did the 619 Call and rebounded off the opposite ropes, running over to Danny Basham and connecting with the 619. He hopped onto the ropes to try and do a West Coast Pop, but Danny Basham caught him in midair and performed a devastating Brain Damage, picking up the win. Winner via pin: Danny Basham (10:43) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- After commercial break, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy were seen arguing backstage. Jeff announced that he could only choose one person, Rob Conway or his own brother. Matt yelled back saying, "Calm down Jeff! It doesn't matter!" Jeff proclaimed that the Tag Titles should be with THEM, the HARDY BOYZ. Matt shook his head and hoisted his title over his shoulder, making his way to the ring area. Match 4: Matt Hardy vs. RhinoThis match saw the momentum shifting every minute, with Rhino landing three gores, but Matt Hardy kicked out of every pin. After five minutes in, Rhino was set up in the Twist of Fate, ready to lose the match. But at that moment, Jeff Hardy came out and performed an Extreme Twist of Fate, disqualifying Rhino. Winner via Disqualification: Matt Hardy (8:43) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Matt Hardy stood up and saw the attacker, confused at first, but then realized why Jeff would attack him. Matt instantly threw a right hook, but Jeff reversed it and kicked Matt in the back of the head, knocking him to the ground. Matt Hardy stood up and earned a huge Gore by Rhino. Lita then made an appearance, snatching the microphone. Lita: Matt, I guess you just aren't extreme enough for us. So as of now, Team 2Xtreme is Back! The crowd went wild. Lita: Consisting of Lita, Rhino, and Jeff Hardy! The crowed popped once more as the camera faded to commercial. Match 5: Universal Contendership Tournament Match: Abyss vs. MankindThis was a match of similarities, without a doubt. They both produced many powerful moves such as powerbombs and powerslams. Midway into the match, Mankind was whipped to the ropes and Abyss lifted him up and performed a Spinning Powerbomb to the outside of the ring, knocking Mankind out. But he didn't want the match end with a count out. Abyss rolled Mankind back into the ring...bad idea. Abyss picked Mankind up but was instantly met with a Mandible Claw, being forced to tap out. Winner via Submission: Mankind (6:32) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match, Evolution was seen backstage. Ric Flair and Matt Hardy were arguing over WHO should be eliminated from the tournament. Benoit or Jeff Hardy. Flair argued Benoit. Matt argued Jeff. It ended with Kevin Nash pitching a plan when the cameras readied to go to commercial, so the plan was never heard by the viewers. Main Event: Universal Contendership Tournament Match: Chris Benoit vs. Jeff HardyAfter commercial break, tensions were high with Benoit and Jeff. Both of them were nervous about what the plan was that Kevin Nash had. Nevertheless, they went on with the match after shaking hands following the starting bell. It began with a lock up, and Chris Benoit performing a headlock, dropping Hardy to the ground. Hardy managed to slip out and perform a big reverse DDT to Benoit, pinning. 1..2..Kickout! Benoit stood up and began to give left and rights to Hardy, making sure no one was sneaking up on them. Later in the match though, Benoit pushed Jeff into the referee on accident, causing a lot of fear in Jeff Hardy and Benoit. They continued to wrestle the match, but they scanned the ring whilst doing it. But Evolution caught a blind spot. Kevin Nash slid into the ring with a chair and nailed Jeff in the back of the head with it, then nailed Benoit with an overhead shot. The ref turned around and saw both men out and rang for the bell. Winner via Disqualification: --- ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Confusion filled the air after the result, Kevin Nash smirked and walked up the entrance ramp to the backstage area. Tony Chimmel was informed of the result. Tony Chimmel: The previous match has ended in a Draw...neither men will continue on in the tournament. Benoit and Hardy began to dwell after hearing the result, both of their faces in shock. Breakout went to a close showing the reaction on both Benoit's and Hardy's faces.

Tuesday Night Detonation The show opens up after highlighting the main event of Tuesday Night Detonation. Triple H vs. Randy Orton in the Lumberjack match. It shows Randy choosing his lumberjacks, Orlando Jordan, Chris Jericho, Kane, Big Show, and Mark Henry. It then showed Triple H's lumberjacks making an appearance, Detonation's Evolution and Breakout's Evolution. After the match, Paul Heyman made an appearance announcing the title match set for New Year's Brawl. Randy Orton vs. Triple H. After he left, Chris Benoit ran down to the ring and took out Evolution, making Flair tap out to the crossface. Match 1: Paul London vs. Billy KidmanTwo WEA newcomers were scheduled for their debut. Luckily, they had experience with heated feud back in the WWE. The match began with Paul London getting the upperhand with a European Uppercut followed by a powerful DDT. Billy Kidman didn't stay on the ground for long though, as he began to fight back with a frenzy of punches and kicks. He whipped London to the corner and performed a devastating Shining Wizard. The hurt London fell to his back, defenseless against another attack. London was picked up by Kidman and whipped to the rope, but he reversed off the rebound with a powerful spinning heel kick, knocking Kidman to the ground. He saw his opportunity and landed a standing Shooting Star Press, getting the win. Winner via pin: Paul London (4:21) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- After the match, London and Kidman were attacked by the current WEA Tag Team Champions, MNM. London and Kidman didn't stand a chance after the tiring match. After the commercial break, London and Kidman demanded a match at New Year's Brawl for the Tag Team Titles, and their match was accepted under one condition. They must choose another tag team to compete in this TLC Title Match! London and Kidman looked at each other in deep thought. Who to choose? Match 2: Kristal Marshall and Ashley Massaro vs. Trish Stratus and a partner of her choiceAfter last week's betrayal, Trish Stratus was offered a partner of her choice, which she accepted reluctantly. After Ashley and Kristal made their way to the ring, Trish’s music hit and she stood on the entrance stage. Trish turned around, and after moments of complete silence, Victoria’s theme hit, allowing an extremely positive crowd reaction. Trish and Victoria slapped hands and ran down the rampway, sliding into the ring. The match was fairly easy for Trish and Victoria. Victoria and Kristal began the match, which didn’t last long. Kristal got the tag after three hits by Victoria, who tagged in Trish afterwards. Ashley and Trish locked up, beginning to smash each other in the ribs. Trish whipped Ashley to the ring ropes and clotheslined her on the rebound. Ashley and Trish continued this process throughout the match, Trish staying pretty much on top. But the match ended with Victoria nailing a giant Widow’s Peak on Ashley and getting the pin. Winners via pinfall: Trish Stratus and Victoria (5:53) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- After celebrating their win, Trish and Victoria gave a hug to one another. Ashley hopped up and grabbed a microphone, yelling at the two. Ashley: Oh yeah? You’re such great friends? Well we’ll see who’s friends when we see a fatal four way match at New Year’s Brawl! Trish vs. Victoria vs. Kristal Marshall vs. Ashley Massaro for the Women’s Championship! Trish nodded and smiled at Victoria, who smiled back. The two knew what the strategy would be for the match: use teamwork. Match 3: Edge vs. Christian CageChristian once again awaited the appearance of his brother after entering the ring. It was shaping up like last week. Eventually, “Metalingus” by Alter Bridge boomed over the PA system and Edge emerged from the curtain, smirking at Christian. Edge: You know, Christian. I’m sure all these fans expected to see a match between the two of us, right? Well, Paul Heyman said if I didn’t show up, I would be fired. Well, I showed up didn’t I? I just spoke with Paul Heyman, and we came up with different stipulations...for a different night. You see, there will be another match scheduled for New Year’s Brawl. Edge vs. Christian for the North American Championship. The crowd pops. Edge: But...but...not only is it a title match. But the loser of the match will have to leave the WEA! Christian hesitates, but nods afterwards, accepting the matchup. Winner: No Contest ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- After Edge’s speech, the cameras turned on backstage, where London and Kidman are seen talking to Todd Grisham. Todd: So, who have you two chosen to go for the tag titles against you and MNM at New Year’s Brawl? Kidman smirks. Kidman: Well, we’ve taken it into consideration, and we have decided. There will be a match up next, it will be Chavo Guerrero and newcomer, Gary Stone vs. AJ Styles and another newcomer, Zach Gowen! The crowd cheers wildly again for the superstars announced as the match begins. Match 4: TLC Qualifying Match: Chavo Guerrero and Gary Stone vs. AJ Styles and Zach GowenThe match was an extremely fast-paced contest which saw AJ and Chavo spending most of the match in the ring, exchanging various punches. Gary Stone was then tagged in, who landed a massive leg drop on AJ Styles, almost getting the pin. AJ tagged in Zach, who immediately performed a one-legged dropkick to Gary Stone, knocking him down. Zach hopped to the side of Gary Stone and performed a standing moonsault, pinning. But Gary kicked out after 2. Zach stood up and awaited Gary, who immediately rolled over and bumped Zach’s leg, knocking him down. Gary stood up and picked up the extremely light Zach Gowen, throwing him to the turnbuckle. The match continued the same, pretty much seeing AJ vs. Chavo and Gary vs. Zach. Surprisingly enough though, Zach Gowen and Chavo were facing each other in the end. Zach made Chavo drowsy and performed one suplex...no two...no THREE SUPLEXES! Zach Gowen performed the Three Amigos on Chavo. Zach then hopped onto the turnbuckle and performed a frog splash, getting a win. Winners by pinfall: AJ Styles and Zach Gowen (8:32) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- AJ Styles grabbed a microphone after the match and smirked, holding it to his lips. AJ Styles: You know, some people have heard about the recent team up of Gowen and Styles. Well, that’s just a silly tag team name now isn’t it? Well, Zach and I have come to an agreement. And we have decided that the new Tag Team Champions of Detonation will be a team known as Simply Phenomenal. The crowd gives a mixed reaction to the poor creativity of the name, but AJ Styles just shrugs it off and exits the ring with Zach Gowen at his side. Match 5: Orlando Jordan vs. Shawn MichaelsThe match started out with Orlando getting torn up by the Heartbreak kid, but later in the match we saw Orlando start to come back with a frenzy of punches against the turnbuckle. He performed a devastating vertical suplex and did the “OJ” taunt, following it with a standing elbow drop. He smirked confidently and began to stomp the Heartbreak Kid. He picked Shawn up and began to pummel him with body punches, performing a DDT immediately. He hopped onto the turnbuckle immediately and jumped off with an elbow drop. It looked as if Orlando would win when Val Venis came from ring side and elbow dropped Shawn Michaels, getting Orlando DQed. Winner via disqualification: Shawn Michaels (7:43) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Orlando and Venis began to battle it out in the ring. Shawn Michaels hopped onto his feet seeking revenge. He went for a Sweet Chin Music on Orlando, and nailed it. But when he went for it on Val, he missed and earned a club to the back. Venis instantly ran out of the ring and grabbed a microphone. Val Venis: Orlando, I want your title! I want your title in a No Disqualification match, so you can’t pull the crap you pulled last week again! Val smirked as the camera went to a commercial break. Main Event: Randy Orton vs. Batista w/ Triple HThis match saw alot of cheating on Evolution’s part, with Triple H distracting the referee and Batista performing a low blow to Randy Orton early in the match. The ref turned around, curious at why Randy Orton was holding his groin (duh!). Batista then performed a Batista Bomb 1..2...KICKOUT!? The ref counted three, but saw Randy Orton’s shoulder up. There was a big fiasco of “What? Three? No? Um..? Huh?” Batista stared at the referee and argued, when Randy stood up, locked in the School Boy...and won the match. Winner via pinfall: Randy Orton (1:20) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Triple H stared at the scene in pure shock, but soon got into the ring and tried to fight off Orton, but was instantly RKOed. Batista got up and earned himself an RKO also. Randy yelled to the fans and hopped onto the turnbuckle and did the “the belt is mine” taunt by running his hands around his lower abdomen, as if he were adjusting a title belt. The show ended with Randy Orton standing on the turnbuckle, on top of the world.
