Wednesday Night Riot!
The show starts off with fireworks and pyros seemingly exploding everywhere in the arena. The commentators are going nuts with the news of the special event: Patriot’s Ball. The fireworks cease, and out comes the AWA’s owner, Dusty Rhodes. When Dusty gets in the ring, he is given a microphone.
Dusty Rhodes: Ah as you all know there wasn’t a General Manager before Patriot’s Ball. As I promised the night of Patriot’s Ball, I’m going to announce a GM for Wednesday Night Riot. So give a major round of applause to the first ever Riot GM.....”STONE COLD” STEVE AUSTIN!
Before Steve Austin’s music hits the crowd is already standing on their feet, cheering their little hearts out. Steve Austin’s music hits, and he makes his appearance for the first time on AWA programming. He enters the ring, and does his usual taunt tradition. He excites the fans even more with the usual taunts he does. Austin receives a microphone from a stage hand, and speaks.
Steve Austin: Stone Cold came out here for one reason, and that is to make the FIRST ever bone shattering announcement made here. There will be a World Title match at Valentine’s Curse.
Dusty Rhodes: Whoa Austin, you’re getting ahead of yourself. First off, we gotta bring out the Chief Commissioner to escort you your contract so we can make this deal concrete. Then we can get all this figured out.
Steve Austin nods, and allows Dusty’s son to come out. Instead of Dustin Rhode’s music playing, Goldust’s theme plays. Dustin comes out as the theme plays, but is terribly confused otherwise. Dustin enters the ring, and hands his father Steve Austin’s contract.
Dusty Rhodes: Thank you son, now let’s forge this contract so we can get on with our lives. And figure out why that mental patient’s music played instead of my good boy’s theme.
Dusty and Austin sign the contract, and put it back into the briefcase that Dustin brought out. Austin raises the microphone again, and finishes his announcement.
Steve Austin: Like I said before, there will be a World Title match at Valentine’s Curse. It will be a No Disqualification, Four Way Dance match. I have already chosen four wrestlers that I would like to see in it. So here are the four men that are going to be competing; Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Chris Benoit, and...JUVENTUD GUERRERA! Now lets get the first match underway!
But before those three men can move, the lights turn out. They stay off for about ten seconds, and before they turn back on the words “You’ll never forget the name of....Goldust!” Is heard throughout the arena. The lights turn back on, and all three men are knocked out in the ring. The show goes to commercial there.

The show comes back, and already in the ring is Crow Bar. From out of no where comes David Flair, and attacks CB. The bell rings, and the match is underway. David Flair throughout the match has control from the preemptive strike in the beginning of the match. Crow Bar tried to come back, but he just couldn’t. Flair in the end locked in the Figure Four Leglock. As Crow Bar was about to tap, a familiar face appeared on the scene. Al Snow came to Crow Bar’s rescue by throwing HEAD at the ref. The ref fell to the ground, making David Flair break up the submission. David Flair went after Al Snow, but ended up getting a huge shot from a crow bar by Crow Bar. Crow Bar made the pin as the ref came to senses, and won the match with a three count.
Winner by Pin Fall: Crow Bar (6:55)

Crow Bar and Al Snow leave the scene with smiles on their faces. The unofficial alliance between Al Snow and Crow Bar can only mean bad times for David Flair up ahead. The scene goes to the Wrestlers Against Evolution’s locker room. There stands the three wrestlers that make up the stable; HBK, Austin Aries, and Alex Shelley.
Austin Aries: Hey man, congratulations on getting a shot for the title! Obviously Austin saw your wrestling abilities, and gave you the shot. Soon WAE will have all the titles. Me and Alex will capture the tag team titles tonight, and Alex will beat Lance Cade for the Rebel South championship. It’s going to be great! Then those idiots from Evolution will finally shut up!
Shawn Michaels: Yeah I definitely agree with you. If you guys have any thoughts against me going for the World Title, tell me. I will definitely convince Austin to give one of you the shot instead of me. Although I really want to face Triple H to get back at him for attacking you guys at Patriot’s Ball.
Alex Shelley: It’s alright Shawn, you can have the shot. You’re the best one suited to take on Triple H. Plus, you’re the leader of this stable. You should have the title wrapped around your waist. Me and Aries will deal with Evolution tonight, don’t worry.
HBK nods in agreement. The scene goes to commercial break from there.

The show comes back from commercial break, and already half way down the ramp is John Bradshaw Layfield with Orlando Jordan at side. They wave to the crowd who is booing them out. As soon as they enter the ring, The Reunited Boyz theme hits the PA system. They speedily enter the ring, and begin the match. For the first portion of the match, JBL controls it. He keeps Michael Hayes off his feet, and reaching his corner. All seems to be going well for JBL until he decides to wave to the crowd after a huge sidewalk slam. Michael Hayes stands up, and dropkicks the back of JBL’s head. Hayes tags in Matt Hardy, and the two take control. Michael Hayes does a backbreaker to JBL, and Matt Hardy leaps off the ropes doing a leg drop to JBL’s head. Orlando Jordan tries to get in the ring, but the ref stops him. This allows the Reunited Boyz to take further double team control. The two begin to mercilessly attack JBL, performing a double Twist of Fate. The ref looks back as Hayes slides out of the ring. Matt then goes for the cover, but JBL kicks out at two. Matt complains to the ref, but Orlando Jordan steps in the ring. Orlando goes for a super kick but Hardy ducks, and hits a recovering JBL instead. JBL falls to the ground. OJ looks astonished at what he just did to his partner. As OJ is distracted, Matt Hardy executes a gigantic Side Effect! Orlando falls to the ground, and Matt Hardy pins JBL. Matt Hardy gets the three count, and The Reunited Boyz leave the ring as the winners.
Winners by Pin-fall: The Reunited Boyz(Matt Hardy and Michael Hayes) (7:42)
After the match OJ and JBL stand up. JBL pushes OJ as if the super kick was intentional. OJ gets extremely annoyed with JBL, OJ grabs a microphone.
Orlando Jordan: You know what, JBL? You’ve been holding me back this whole time! You’ve won a world title shot on WWE, while I only was allowed to compete for the US title! Now this time is going to be different. I don’t want to be held back by you. Everyone knows I can compete for that World Heavyweight Championship any day over you! Why don’t you ask Farooq to come back and help you out? I’m done with being your lackey! IT’S OJ’S TIME TO SHINE!
As OJ confesses this, JBL smirks. He then big boots Orlando Jordan to the ground. JBL picks up the microphone, and speaks.
John Bradshaw Layfield: LISTEN YOU LITTLE TWIT! Next Wednesday, we’ll see how good you are in a one-on-one match against yours truly, John Bradshaw Layfield.
The scene goes to commercial break as JBL smiles into the camera.

The scene comes back from break, and shows a very unhappy Triple H sitting down in Evolution’s locker room. He wraps his wristbands, and laces up his boots. He obviously is getting ready for his match later on tonight. From the side comes Nick Mitchell and Lance Cade.
Lance Cade: Hey Trips, listen man. Don’t worry about your match tonight against Chris Benoit. That guy is older then the sun, you can handle him.
Triple H: You idiot, do you think I’m worried about Benoit? NO! I’m not worried about anything. What I’m mad about is the fact that Austin didn’t just hand me the title there. This only proves that Dusty Rhodes is even a bigger idiot then before. Listen, what I want you guys to do is keep those titles. Take any measure possible to retain those titles. I don’t care if you get disqualified. If we lose those titles to those losers, we won’t have as much power as we currently have. If you guys win, we’ll celebrate. If you guys lose... well....Who knows what I might do.
Nick Mitchell: Don’t worry boss, we got these fruit cups tonight.
The scene changes to the ring. WAE’s music hits over the PA system, and they enter. After that comes Evolution with the titles. The match starts, and it seems WAE is on top. But after all their efforts, Evolution was only playing possum to wear them out. In the end Alex Shelley tries to go for a Shellshock, but it gets reversed by Nick Mitchell into a Downward Spiral(Complete Shot). Mitchell tags in Lance Cade, and Cade finishes it by performing a leg drop from the top rope to Shelley. Cade goes for the cover, and gets the pinfall victory.
Winners by Pinfall: Evolution(Cade and Mitchell) (8:29)

After the match Evolution celebrates the victory by completely decimating WAE. Mitchell and Cade powerbomb Shelley and Aries in unison through the announcers table. Instead of just standing there, and letting WAE get further annihilated; Dean Malenko chases Evolution off, and onto the ramp. As Evolution looks down at a furious Malenko, they don’t see Shawn Michaels sneak up from behind. Michaels slams a chair across Nick Mitchell’s back. As Cade turns around, HBK super kick’s the chair into Cade’s face. The scene fades to commercial as HBK stands over the two young kids with fulfilled vengeance.

The scene opens back up with Bubba Ray’s music still playing as he strolls around the ring with a microphone in his hand. He tells everyone how his brother has gone psycho with God. He says that religion has taken over too much of his life, and that they’re tag team is OVER! D-von later comes out with John Heidenreich. Reverend D-Von tells the crowd that Bubba has committed sins, and must repent. Bubba goes to explain himself, but D-Von doesn’t want to hear it. Instead D-Von tells Heidenreich to attack Bubba. And he does, successfully also. The scene cuts to a different place as Bubba Ray lays in a pool of his own blood. There walks Ken Kennedy, who has a cocky look on his face. He walks up to Abyss who is standing there, being psychotic as he usually is. Ken tries to say soothing words to the beast, but Abyss gets annoyed. Abyss begins to stalk him down, but from no where comes the Union North champion, Sting! Sting hits Abyss across the back of his head, and makes him fall to his knees. Sting moves so that he faces Abyss, face-to face. He then swings the bat full force into Abyss face. Abyss falls back, screaming out in pain. Sting then turns to a very thankful Ken Kennedy. Sting doesn’t care too much for his crap either, and smashes the bat across his temple. The scene goes to commercial break as the Stinger walks away from the two fallen men.

The show returns, and Paul London’s music hits. He makes his way down the ramp, and after he enters the ring Christian Cage comes out. As the bell rings, the match commences. This match overall is very competitive. Both men striving to beat each other out anyway possible. In the height of the match, Christian nails a huge reverse DDT on London. It seems London’s out for the count, but he gets his shoulder up after a two count. Christian can’t believe it, and slaps London out of frustration. The match continues with Christian losing momentum, and London nailing a huge Springboard elbow smash. London climbs the ropes, and goes for the 450 splash, but gets nothing but mat. Once London gets up, Christian nails the Unprettier, and goes for the pin. The ref counts the three, and Christian wins.
Winner via Pinfall: Christian Cage (7:14)
After the match Dusty Rhodes is seen speaking with his son Dustin Rhodes. They seem to be ready for an attack from the mysterious Goldust. As the two speak on the issue, they decide it’s best that they stick together, and fight the menace off as father and son. But as they turn to go walk wherever they desire, Dustin turns to his father, and attacks him! He keeps attacking his father until he is on the ground bleeding! Dustin then holds his head, and seems to be struggling with something. Dustin then straightens up, and has a gigantic smirk on his face.
Dustin Rhodes: Hmm.....that should shut that fatty up.
The scene goes to commercial break from there.

The show comes back live as Chris Benoit makes his way down the ramp, and into the ring. Soon later Triple H follows, doing his usual routine. The bell sounds, and the match starts. The match is extremely entertaining. The two men battle it out as if it were their last battle on the earth. Chris Benoit lands the three German suplexes, but Triple H comes back with a huge spinebuster. Triple H then takes further momentum by picking up Benoit over his head, and throwing him over the ropes to the canvas below. Benoit hits the canvas, and lets out a gasp as his body takes the pain. He can’t do much, as Triple H gets out of the ring, and begins to further the extent of his injuries. Once Triple H believes he has inflicted enough pain on Benoit, he slides him in the ring. He goes for the pedigree, and executes it perfectly! Triple H goes for the pin. The ref counts...1....2......KICK OUT! Benoit has just enough life in him. But he continues to get pummeled by Triple H. Eventually Triple H goes for another Pedigree, but from out of no where comes Austin Aries down the ramp casually. The AWA Regional championship is draped from his shoulder, as he stops by the apron. Triple H throws Benoit down, and goes towards the ropes to shout at the nuisance. The ref pushes Triple H away, and tells Austin Aries to leave. As Triple H goes back for Benoit, he gets a huge “It Came From Japan” from Alex Shelley. Shelley then slides out of the ring, and hides under the apron. Benoit stands up slowly before the ref looks back. Benoit comes to his senses, and moves to the turnbuckle. He does the “cut throat to chest slap” taunt, and then performs the head-butt from the top rope. Benoit covers, and gets the three.
Winner via Pinfall: Chris Benoit
After the match is through WAE gets in the ring, and begins to annihilate Triple H. They do every harmful thing they can to The Game, completely dismantling him. Benoit stands back, and watches. All of a sudden comes Cade and Mitchell. The two begin to fend off WAE, but to no avail. HBK comes storming out, and gives the edge to WAE. The WAE takes out Evolution, and looks to Benoit. Benoit smirks, and slides out of the ring. WAE celebrates in the ring as the scene fades out.
