Hey everyone, im heard a rumor, if u wanna call it that, that u can transfer music from your computer onto the ps2, is this true? if so what do i need to do this and does the music have to be a specific type of file?

Depends what you mean by the PS2. If you mean onto the SVR2006 game, then it is sort of possible, but only if you know exactly what to edit on the disc, and you need to burn a new copy of the disc and have a chipped ps2 - which is quite illegal

it is illegal but it is possible as Tom said as well bad thing is if you have the music in the game which takes quiet long... there won´t be crowd voices anymore unless you put them over your musictrack which you want to put in .... so all in all it was to much work for me on SVR and it is the same now so i just leave it like it is ... :-)

It's not illegal to backup your games, only 1 backup/edit per game though.

what are you now the government....haha but I dunno if that is true maybe in ps3 you can transfer songs from the psp? ....anyways good luck making the song on your svr06

well i know u can put mp3's on it with the newer AR Max Versions that comes with the AR Media thingy tht saves onto ur memory card

i used to have a modded ps2 but it messed evrything up and broke eventually so its best to keep to a original ps2
