Help With Pal AR MAX Hidden Character Code

Hi

i just joined on to this board although i have been following this excellent site for quite a while now.

I was wondering if anyone could help me with the codes for my game as when i put the jerry lawler code in and try to start the game it freezes on a black screen.

here's a step by step of what i do:

1:Put my AR MAX ver. 3.36 in my ps2

2:I created smackdown vs raw 2006 folder and input the
mastercode (RWD7-U83A-V1D1J, 1QUH-C47A-NCUND)

3:Entered the jerry lawler code (6DKV-8MK9-9H8NH,
E859-EQWR-8YBDD)

4:Opened disk tray to put SVR06 in started the game with the one code on but then it freezes on a black screen.

Any help that you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Bearing in mind that i also tried the jerry lawler code from code junkies website with the same results.

is your AR MAX Pal or NTSC??? what format codes did you put in? PAL or NTSC??? That could have something to do with it
