i cant use my character i season?????

need help somone told me at the gamefaqs forum that i need to enter him in season but he doesnt come up when they give me a choice to choose a character and it gets me mad cause i cant put more stats to him.And im not new to the smackdown games ive passed smackdown vs. raw and completed all the challenges and bought everything in the shop so someone please help i just got this game and its awsome.

I think I know. In the beginning of season you can modify the rosters and stuff. In some point in there is a table of people who are in the season and who are not (You know where I'm gettin). In this table add your superstar.
