Thought I would post this to explain the various reasons some CAWs are not added,. and to give some tips for getting caws on. Hopefully this will make you feel a bit better if your CAW isn't put on, and help you with your submissions.
Here are some tips to help your CAW get on:
Try to do steps 2, 3 & 4 below as I really appreciate CAWs that are layed out like this for me!

1) Obviously make sure it's a good CAW, and try to get feedback on it etc
2) Make pictures a reasonable size, and if possible, compile them together into one image. This helps me a lot so I'm always more pleased to add CAWs with pics done like this!
3) On the page where your CAW is, clearly state the name of the caw and credits at the top of the page, then underneath show the pics or clearly state where they are. Then put the formula under that. That is an easy format to follow so again makes it easier for me.
4) If possible, have a help pic link at the top rather than help pics dotted throughout the formula. Again it makes it easier for me
5) There's more chance of it being added if it's a CAW we don't have already. Though if it's quite a big improvement over previous versions of the same CAW there is a chance it'll get on.
Here are some tips about why some CAWs don't make it on:
It's not always because your CAW isn't good, but here are the most common reasons for them not being added:
1) Obviously not doing what the tips above say doesn't help
2) Too many of that CAW exist already, and the new one isn't different enough to be worth adding aswell. So even if the CAW is pretty good, if there is already a popular definitive version by someone else it has less chance of being added
3) Broken pic links, or no pics atall
4) Broken links to the CAW/can't find formula
5) If you didn't follow the rules of submission, found Here
If your CAW was not added after being submitted, I do apologise and hope that you're not too upset. Please don't re-submit the CAW as it will go through the same process again and not be added. If changes are made to the caw, new pics are put up etc then you may submit it again, but it's still not guaranteed if it will make it or not.
